The v8 isnt all that much faster than the normal size one
and the normal one would be much safer, when the v8 one goes through the chain goes into the dirt this would blounted the chain so the time spent having to resharpen the chain so a lose so I would have to say the smaller chainsaw is the fastest. See it like the saying goes its not the size that matters but how you use it thats whats important.
if you had a v8 wouldn't you use it on your car? :)

only reason it went faster was because the rpm looks to have been faster and also the sheer weight of it!

NO!, a the small one there runs at around 10,000rpm and the v8 alot less!
