LA and Phillidalphia are in nasty funks and the cards were just in time to play them. What about the 22 inning scoreless streak? How many wins does Jeff Suppan have? The idea when you pick up a player is to improve your team not make it worse. I know you would love to suck Walt Jockety's dick to get him back, but enjoy the freefall...

Cards were begging to get swept but Lou was out of control. Why he left Schlitter in there in the 11th I don't know. I thought for sure it was going to be Howry. The Cardinals got away with all the Horrible calls at second. Chis carpenter showed horrible Sportsmanship yelling at the umpire for more inches off the plate. ESPN did the world a service by taking the camera off someone who is just as hotheaded as Carlos Zambrono. Cubs take series 2-1. St Louis are chumps and really are bad in 2010.

Aram knocks 3 HR out to left center with 7 rbis. Soto hits one out too. This is the biggest comeback of the year, and in the words of the great Ron Santo, "A tribute to Lou..."

Newsflash: Cubs take series over the fighting Phills in dramatic fasion on ESPN Sunday night baseball 11-6!! Gorzo was awesome for the win. Roy Halliday gave up 5 runs in 6 innings and left with his tail between his legs. Ole Roy gave up 2 duece HRs in his non-quality start. the route was on by the end of the 7th when the Phills bulpen set the feild on fire like arsonests. Wow!!! Way to go Cubs.
