lol I don't know, if you're really running everything on high, but everything. Then there's something wrong with your game. My Stalker SoC version is unpatched, yours might be patched, so this might be the problem, but only only if it is. I don't know lol but maybe download mods for your game if you can't see your own characters shadow, the mod might fix it.

If you go to this file you can see the two speeches that informer makes you can create a new audio file with what ever you want him to say in it then convert if to an .ogg file using audio converter make sure this ogg is in 44,100Hz 16 bit mono type or your new file wont work. then rename your new file to ahve the same name as one of the two files already there and finally copy paste your new one over the old, accept the over write and he will never say "i have some info" again.
