  • this guy's nails are black with dirt....

  • gosh this making me hungry...

  • why is the octopus cooked

  • Comment removed

  • boiled half way not completely cooked

  • because if the octopus dont whant to be sliced it will just grip the knive and you wont be able to get it off. Live octopus can only be choped.

  • Hey sorry to trouble you cozyolt san, I was watching the video and was wondering how you prepared the octopus / taco prior to slicing. Thank you for sharing ちょっと迷惑を掛けて申し訳ないをcozyoltさん、私とは、ビデオを見てどのようにタコを用意したwondering /タコスライスする前に。共有していただきありがとうございます

  • Nunca vi sashimi tao feio !!! =(

  • "Start with raw organic egg yolks, do that for a while. Then move onto FRESH fish, not frozen. ie REAL sashimi. Then onto grass fed organic beef, like steak tar tar. Then onto other reds."

Or, you can just eat the fucking meat raw, no matter where you got it, as long as its fresh. Kind of like our ancestors did. Otherwise we wouldn't fucking be here, see.

  • That Octopus is cooked, therefore not sashimi.

  • cooked, or just octopus is tako, raw octopus is nama tako. nama tako tastes like raw squid or cuttlefish.

  • @unregisturd You took the words right out of my fingers!

  • @unregisturd If it's not Sashimi then what is it called? Sashimi means sliced flesh.

  • is this halal or kosher

  • what are your opinions about chicken sashimi. it's served in a yakitori in japan. tony bourdain ate some in japan. there is also chicken tataki, in that yakitori. please tell me your views about consuming raw chicken.

  • Consuming raw meat is only the wisest when you consume animals that you knew personally. Beyond that, you're ALWAYS rolling the dice. Why? Because how the animal lived and how healthy the animal was and how healthy it's environment was is ultimately the most important factor in deciding whether it's safe to eat it raw. Factory farming is a good way to get the sickest most diseased animals on the face of the earth. Thus why eating grocery store meats raw is dangerous.

  • are you aware that chicken meat can be eaten raw? how!? how about organic meats, can organic meats be eaten raw?

  • Of course, you get good quality meat and build your stomach up too it you can consume the most absurd "dangerous" raw meats around. If you don't build your self up too it though, could easily kill you.

  • how do i build my stomach up to it?

  • Start with raw organic egg yolks, do that for a while. Then move onto FRESH fish, not frozen. ie REAL sashimi. Then onto grass fed organic beef, like steak tar tar. Then onto other reds. Then onto a few of the organs of the reds, then the poultry. After poultry then the other kinds of sea food. After about 4 - 6 months you could then handle eating aged rotting meat, no lie.

  • i'm used to eating raw seafood, and beef. beef tastes like a less fishy, but meatier tuna. does organic chicken meat count to be eaten raw, as sashimi? organic grass fed meats are expensive and scarce in the united states. all americans do is eat processed or highly refined foods, loaded with unhealthy chemicals created from a lab, and high fructose corn syrup. because high fructose corn syrup is cheaper than natural sweeteners. please expect next comment.

  • americans eat meats that are loaded with antibiotics, and growth hormones. the animals raised for meats are not free ranged, and they're fed with grains and soy.

  • i dont think i wanna eat sushi anymore, all this live eating is putting me off.

  • live? This wasn't live, you idiot. I think you meant raw..

  • dont have a cow alrighty, sheesh!!

  • that is never real sashimi

sashimi should be very thin slices

    transparent thin

only then can it be truly seen as sashimi

  • sashimi doesn't have to be transparent thin.. there are so many restaurants that serve thick slices.. and it depends on serving which part of the fish

  • what about white fish, white fish should be transparent thin; but not dark meat fish. do you know abalone should be sliced paper-thin.

  • some of the white fishs, for examples like chinu, kohada, shime saba etc. also serves in thick slices too in japan... and abalone( awabi)can be serves in thick slices with small cuts tenderize and decorate the meat. you said abalone should be sliced paper thin is because it's easier to eat,but some restaurant do serve in thick slices.just like the last comment..it depends on serving which part of the fish.. And i'm not profession. i get all this information from a book guide of sushi and sashimi

  • what is chinu? is that japanese or english?

  • it's in japanese.i think it's also call tai(鯛). it's one of the popular white fish sashimi.. i've ate it before. it tastes like toro

  • i once ate abalone raw, as sushi and sashimi at home. i sliced the abalone thin enough to be nearly paper thin; however it is still thick, and it is not as chewy as i expected. please tell me about it.

  • How about white tuna? Man, it just melts in your mouth and, most importanly, taste great!

  • looks good

  • MMMM...YUMMEHHH

  • isn't eating raw fish bad for health?

  • Not for them.

  • i believe its raw meats like beef that r bad

  • no,it isnt,unless you eat it rotten

  • Well...sometimes eating raw fish isnt bad ...depends what you mean like eating raw fish that is catch out of a fresh lake and it eat raw yeah thats fine But who knows sometimes it is bad but it isnt...hope it somewhat helps heh..

  • consuming raw saltwater fish isn't bad for you, it's healthy for you. it provides vital nutrients for the consumer, cooking the saltwater fish diminishes the vital nutrients.

  • I've enjoyed sushi, sashimi, and onigiri. But now I want to try poke (poe-kay, it's Hawaiian).

  • Yo. Dude. Poke, is not pronounced like that. Of course you're haole, so I'll let it slip.

  • I'm not just haole, I'm an Okie! Well, kind of an Okie. I've been in Texas for the last twenty-some-odd years, but I grew up an Okie.

So how do you say it?

  • good looking cut of fish.

  • dunno wad the chef is tinking before cutting the cooked octopus muz tink before he cut???

  • eww look at his nails! i wouldn't want to eat that now...

  • oh please everybody don't be fuckin silly...he cuts and handles fish so it's quite normal that some of the skin/blood/meat goes under his nails. Why don't you make a tour of any restaurant's kitchen...then you will reconsider this guy's hygiene.

  • he must have went to the toilet before he cut this sashimi

  • Holy Crap...

His nails.. I wouldnt wanna eat that sashimi

  • so nasty all i was watching was that persons nasty fingernails

  • shigybang33 i so fucking agree lol haha funny shit

  • This is my favorite food! Tuna Sashimi.......

  • Try to shabu, shabu it !!!

  • Are you three below me idiots or just play ones on youtube? If you guys would kindly go to the nearest sink within your home, that is if you can steal away from watching his nails, and wash the cold out of your eyes, you will notice that his nails are regulatory legnth. and what you may percieve as his nails is actually fragments of sushi -.- noobs

  • gross nails.

  • somebody need to cut their nails! for real!!

  • i know! haha wasabie doesn't kill bacteria. If it did it would be in our handsoap lol.

  • If it did, they wouldn't use it anyway because it's too expensive.

  • You can never use too much wasabi on sashimi or sushi.... kidding

  • is the fish acully raw becuz i wanna make some for my b-day..and well..i'm confused

  • The fish is raw...that's why when you eat it, you always need the wasabi to kill off its bacterias

  • I don't use wasabie. lemon and garlic and sea salt is actually stronger to kill anything bad.

  • Neither sea salt nor galic have any anti-bacterial properties... unless if you mean concentrated brine... which salinity diminishes on fluid filled tissue like raw meat.

Lemon too does nothing as the acidity is usually too weak to damage protein structures... bacteria produces more acidic stuff btw when they undergo some forms of anaerobic respirations... (sour stuff = spoilt by bacteria... remember?)

btw... its acidity(lack of -ve charges... or excess +ve charges) that gives the sour taste

  • quit ruining peoples days :P

  • Wasabi is picked horse radish.

    =_=

  • Hmm... i don't think wasabi actually kills bacteria... it kinda like masks the fishyness of some raw fishes... If you look up anti-bacterial chemicals/substances... it also states that they kinda destroy the liver

Your stomach acid should be enough to > most bacteria cept those that flourish within the guts...

Parasites on the otherhand are > by prolonged "Freezing" that causes actual tissue damage... since they are usually multicellular.. enough cells die to kill it...

  • That is some skilled cutting right there... thin slices of octopus everytime...

  • Haha, you make your country look bad! :D

  • Can't even talk in your own language can you IsraeliTruth? Don't hate cause they don't eat your deep-fried food.

  • Kenmasi, Wasabi isn't hair raising, shocking, nostril itching, or tear excreting.

If it honestly does have ALL those side effects on you, stop eating it.

Wasabi tastes like DeepCold™, or VicksVaporRub®.

  • are you eating vapor rub ???

  • Not unless Momo Sushi gives out Vapor Rub instead of Wasabi.

  • I hate Octopus, and Squid. I went to a salad bar once, and accidently ate a WHOLE, RAW, baby squid. Tasteless and rubbery. *Shudders*

  • IsraeliTruth, You're just a fucking racist that can't put together a sentence worth shit.

  • looks so yummmy

  • the best raw seafood is gaint elephant clam and the 2nd would be salmon sashimi

  • i hate octopus.. its way too.. rubbery or whatever.

  • ah the rednees of fresh tuna... the salty taste of soy sauce.. and the hair raising, shocking, nostril itching, tear excreting taste of wasabi... hiro domo arigato... kampai!!!!

  • that looks like chu toro to me

  • mollusks are very chewy and tough if they're uncooked.

Food taste much better when they're cooked...lol

  • I love the salmon and the tuna sashimis they're the best!!!!!!!!1

  • MMMMMMM, nuthin better than Tuna Sashimi ^_^
