Also you guys; after you enter the new IP on your Xbox, make sure to edit the mask code to before. (255.255.255.0) or something like that. Also you default gateway on your Xbox.

Wow the people posting on this are funny. 192.168.1.1 is the default ip address of a linksys router. Do you not know how routers or IP address work at all? What he is doing is opening up ports and forwarding them to the correct IP in this case the xbox360's IP. Great video btw.

If you can not find a website such as " 192.168.1.1 " Take everything off your internet like if you have something connected to it, then unplug your linksys box and plug it back in after 30 seconds, make sure 1 internet browser is open, like internet explorer, mozilla, etc, then try it.. worked for me

Hei people, not for everybody is 192.168.1.1, will depend the model of your modem. To see your default gateway go to start, execute and type cmd, copy the default gateway number and paste it in your web browser.

This technique is pretty... Off. It's effective, I guess, but it doesn't work for routers that automatically open those ports when you go into xbox live. The best way is to save your settings, then reset your router and try it without a password or anything else. Then if it's open, put a password on and change the name.

GUYS!!!! I found the real solution for this problem. I've had this problem for at least 4 months and I tried ALL the tutorials on youtube and none of them worked. So the other day I was really pissed and i found out that my firewall was disabled (I dont know why the fuck i did that but) i turned it on AND IT WORKED :D . Before of that i had another router which had the same problem but this one came blocked for some reason. So there are two solutions: turn on firewall or buy a new router

Not sure if it will work for you guys, but I run my xbox on a wireless connection, and all I did was go to, (all on the xbox), settings-network settings-then all I did was disconnect from the wireless network I was using and then connected right back. My NAT went from moderate to open. Hope this helps! :)
