  • Marijuana is a herb not a drug like republicans think .

As long as there is a market for it it wont go away no matter what laws you have.

42.3% of US citizens have admitted to smoke marijuana at lest ones.

Can any one really say that 42.3% of the US should be in jail?

74% of the US don't think the drug war is doing anything

Heroin has become 600% cheaper then it was before the drug war started.

In the Netherlands only 24% have ever tried marijuana

7 in the US is getting marijuana form the fed

  • Yeah Right Now Pigs Are Happy Right Now Cuz There EASYEST Target Are Weed Smokers But When This Law Pass..They Will Have To Work Hard To Get Points Thats Why Almost All Of Them Are Aginst Legalization...

  • Adam the Man and Ron Paul have important issues to speak about !! Not just dolls.

  • legalise the pot!

  • Isn't my body my own property, given to me by the natural liberties instilled in the 5th amendment?

  • Sitting around smoking weed and talking to the Bankers will not fix anything, it has not fixed anything in the last 40 plus years. The Lobby and Lobby Whores LOVE! YOU!! stoners who sit on your asses and do NOTHING! but talk about hugging it out! No worries of the stoners doing anything to change ANYTHING! just more weed! let the FED print more money and the rich have more and the poor have less! but as long as there is weed! it's ALL GOOD!

  • I wanna lick that girl's brain!

  • RP closing in on Cain in the tea party straw poll. teapartystraw.info. RP said he will legalize it he is letting the people know that he means what he says. Speak up for him.

  • Google: "Drugs in Portugal: Did Decriminalization Work?" It worked!! Snippet: "...rates of lifetime use of any illegal drug among 7th through 9th graders fell from 14.1% to 10.6%; drug use in older teens declined. Lifetime heroin use among 16-to-18-year-olds fell from 2.5% to 1.8%;New HIV infections in drug users fell by 17% between 1999 and 2003, and deaths related to heroin and similar drugs were cut by more than half; money saved on enforcement was then used for treatment..."

  • It will never happen. This government is taking liberties not restoring them.

  • America please support The SUGAR LAW CENTER...it maybe your only hope

  • I am English and even I want Ron Paul to become president in 2012

  • @MrYorkshireFella I watch the propaganda machine try to discredit Ron Paul here in the states all the time.. I'm willing to bet Ron Paul has more international support than any other US Politician right now.. Thanks for voicing your support from across the waters! Peace!

  • People were made to be free. Freedom will not create a perfect world. Just the best possible world. Freedom is the solution to the human condition. RON PAUL is the ONLY candidate who understands this. ALL the others tell you that if you give them power(that is, give up your power/freedom) they will fix all life’s problems for you. Which makes them either fools or power hungry liars.

  • Also, "They" will just make so much red tape and bury any idea "They" don't like. Remember we are being attacked on many fronts.

  • People are finding Glass and Iron fillings in their weed. They are trying too hard and are showing the holes in their Armor. Aim well my fellow life loving Humans, Aim very well and this beast will fall to the ground in a way that will bring us to a Joy never before seen in history. I can see the future and we do win. Peace. and Weed was legal at one point.

  • how many black shirts do you own?

  • @MakkaPakka666

    lol.

  • I WANT MY WEED DAMMIT!!!

  • Hindsight....Not to mention that its a change of pace from the common local and national doom and gloom which the common person faces on a day to day bases, giving us something else to talk about, if it passes which I hope it does.

  • I think drugs are bad. Not my thing, but who am I to tell someone how to live their life? My eyes are open. Get the Federal Government out of our lives. If a state bans drug and you want to use, MOVE. If your a bad parent and can't teach your children right from wrong, move to a State that prohibits drugs. Simple as that. My thoughts only.

  • I support this 100% because whether you like the stuff or not, its "new revenue" which this country disparately needs leading to a shut down of a lot bureaucratic B.S. which we the people don't need. Remember that pot contains a variety of uses which is gonna be one heck of a big hit to the BIG CORPs control which they have on the world lol.

Its either they abandon their ways or change and adapt it to modern day society which equals to a win for the people.

    Ron Paul 2012.

  • I smoked the stuff when I was a kid and stopped it many years ago. I hate the stuff, but what I hate more is that some government ars thinks they can tell me what I can put into my body!

  • Change 2012 (but this time the good kind)

  • DEA Go Away!

  • The real reasons its illegal, is because its relation to industrial hemp. they are de-industrializing us, so they wont allow that. also, if people could smoke weed, they wouldn't most likely move on to CIA brand heroin.

  • I think most of Congress uses drugs, yet they are not tested as the common people are. This brings up the saying "what's good for the goose is'nt good for the gander" Lets legalize drugs like Marijuana and see how it goes. I guarantee the crimes related to Marijuana will go down. Prohibition has never worked, but makes lots of money for the mafia and the government who fight to keep it illegal for the Money created to keep it so. $500 a minute is spent on the Drug War. $15 billion a year federal

  • Common Misconception: The bill does not legalize marijuana at all. It leaves it up to states to decide the laws regarding marijuana. The federal government would step back from its role as supreme drug police in the country and instead only regulate the interstate commerce of marijuana in order to protect states that have differing laws on the drug. Marijuana could very well end up being illegal in your state but this bill prevents agencies like the DEA from interfering with state laws.

  • We need referendums to decide things like this. Our reps don't represent us to the best of our interests. Adam a bunch of old geezers deciding our liberty.

  • End the War on Drugs and Legalize HEMP......Ron Paul 2012!

  • If the impossible wasn't possible, the United States of America wouldn't be a country.

  • I sure as hell don't think Ron Paul is the way to go. But right now, he's the lesser of all evils.

  • @restlesspride666 He is better than Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin & Rick Santorum who are war mongers and fear mongers...

  • I hate how every one is immediately losing all hope for this bill and saying no. Ron Paul is doing the right thing, you have to give him faith at least.

  • I think this is a smart move on Paul's behalf. He will get a lot of support also pushing this through. I think he needs to bring out the big guns and use them. I think Ron Paul is a damn great man and I support him 100% even if I don't always agree with him. This is what the country needs. I hate how I hear people saying the constitution doesn't work today because times have changed. WRONG! It will work better. We don't even follow the constitution anymore, we need to go back to it.

  • @neoplasmax We are much more accepting of people now. The youth has seen the stupidity of their parents and I hope when our generation gets in there we can make a difference so our children can see the petty things we do and be better than us. Evolution is a beautiful thing if we don't blow ourselves up first.

  • Lamar Smith said he would block the bill from getting a vote on the floor here is his information he is the Chair on the Committee that the law has to pass through before it can be voted on he used a pre typed response to the bill saying it wont see the light of day call him email him message him on facebook Paul and Frank opened a can of worms here and we the people have a chance to stand up to this

202-225-4236 is the DC office # for Lamar Smith, 512-306-0439 is his Austin, TX district office.

  • Perfect opportunity to expand the populous movement for state sovereignty though upholding the 10th amendment. Paul and others supporting this bill are merely doing what the states are supposed to do and could do if they weren't so dependent on and tangled in the web of federal redistribution. The states would act through nullification as a check and balance on illegal federal behavior.

  • @Depletethestate Well said.

  • The government can't let the drug war end. how else are the police going to justify randomly murdering non violent people?

  • "the more people smoke herb, the more babylon fall." bob marley.

vote DR RON PAUL 2012 one love

  • @bigmancoolguy Yes vote in the man that would cut all funding to the public educations system for ganj.

  • @Portlandhardstylers

He doesnt want to end funding for public schools...he wants to get rid of...or downsize the Board of Education....not the public school system. Thats some more of that chicken little...the sky is falling crap his haters keep resorting to.

  • @Shadownian He wants to eliminate the public school system in favor of privatized education. And then give vouchers to select people who cannot afford to send their children to the private school.

  • @Portlandhardstylers

Again we blow things out of proportion.

"I have a bill that would give tax credits to the teachers to raise their salaries. We should encourage homeschooling & private schooling and let the individuals write that off."

Basically allow for the freedom of choice of schools. Maybe you dont like the public school in your area...hes saying that he could give tax credits to those who go to private schools, cause those cost money to attend. Nothing about eliminating public school

  • @Portlandhardstylers

oh and that was back in 2007

  • @Portlandhardstylers

"Voted YES on vouchers for private & parochial schools.

Vote to pass a bill to allow states to use certain federal funds designated for elementary and secondary education to provide scholarships, or vouchers, to low-income families to send their children to private schools, including religious schools."

Again nothing about eliminating public schools...just alternatives to public schools.

So sorry...but the sky isnt falling :-)

  • Seeing as Hemp oil is said to cure cancer, surely they will stop it somewhere within the government. Unfortunately!

  • @KingRyltar Yup. They won't go down without a fight, Imagine if big pharma didn't make money on cancer treatments. :P

  • @KingRyltar skin, lung, throat, mouth, and brain cancers. according to recent studies regular use of marijuana is shown to have some mild protective qualities, id say warrents further investigation.

  • @KingRyltar LOL!
