  • Just did mine and they are nice and sharp!!! thanks a lot. @Matthew0161 Mine were really loud at first then i took it apart again and made sure everything was lined up correctly and no screws were loose and it went back to normal

  • Someone HELP ME!!!. My Andis T outliners are screaming so loud. I'm in the UK and i am using a converter. They cut perfect but are soo loud it gives me an earache. Is there anyway to quiet them? please help!!!

  • @Matthew0161 Im in Germany and I have the same issue I think Andis has a european spec T outliner I'm waiting for Andis's to email me back with the model. You should go onto the Andis website and ask them.

  • Thanks broseph, that helped a lot and I am now a subscriber!

  • I appreciate this video man. I just bought a new T Outliner blade and it was not cutting well. Greatly appreciated.

  • I got the same tooth brush

  • I really appreciate this tutorial (been an excellent help). It was ver difficult for me NOT to recognize the dude's Trini accent though...LoL! Big Up mih Trinidadian-connection doin massive tings. "Dun know."

  • Damn Son, shit sharp; too sharp to be exact lol. lining my bro this time should be easier

  • great video bro!

  • nice man,,,, very helpful!!!

  • Yo whatz up man i have a question on the Andis T-Outliner Trimmer. I just bought it mainly because i want a close shave under my chin but I dont get a close shave. Usually, when i shave under my chin it feels too sharp on my razor bumps but when my barber shaves all the ingrown hairs under my chin it comes out perfect and smooth without that sharp feeling. I already tried adjusting the clippers to the same length, but still the same thing. (my barber uses the same clippers.)

  • i tried it and now they dont work

  • i dont want to take it apart and then break it cuz then i just wasted 60 bucks so is there a easier way

  • much respect, this worked nice

  • "Titen boat screws" Thanks bro good tutorial!!

  • @JCHONDA2NR I lol'ed

  • @JCHONDA2NR , hes a Caribbean dude

  • you dont know shit bitch you jus fuck them up

nigga wtf we cant cut doin this shit

  • I opened mine and this little ring like thing fell out. I DONT KNOW WHERE IT CAME FROM. also, i tightened mine and now it gets hot fast.

  • yo banna, did you just say Bram? now i know where youre from. nice video i just did mine, it was not straight, and it was fresh out the box.

  • DaBartist can you put a T outlinner blade on a Outlinner 2 clipper?

  • Comment removed

  • this is not sharpening this is adjusting

  • i tried doing the same you did but i couldnt unscrew the two small screws from under the blade. i ended up stripping them. them shits is on tight

  • Thanks bro! You have saved me a lot of money. I just bought one of these and will buy a sharpener soon. Tired of going to the barber to pay 20 bucks for a full cut and shave.

  • i got the wahl detailer, when i be doing my client back lining on the neck, it leaves a red mark, any one knows why that happens?

  • @barrios527 If hes white or light skin, it's probably because the blade got hot.

  • @barrios527 ur bottom blade is to close to the top blade.

  • Comment removed

  • @barrios527 u probably press to hard or you adjusted them way to sharp you want them sharp but not as sharp enough were the costumer or whoever it is will feel uncomfortable..

  • Hey bro will the Andis T Outliner Trimmer Blades fit on a Andis Outliner ll Trimmer

  • THANKS !!!! I was wondering why my blades weren't cutting that well and they're practically brand new. Good job with the video and very helpful!!!

  • WTF!!! I was wondering why my T's weren't cutting as sharp as my regular Outliner's. I've been using my regular outliners more than the T's and the T's are still practically new. Thanks for this video. Gonna go adjust my blades asap!

  • great vid man. i've been wondering why i wasnt getting a tight line. just did as u did in ur vid. now im crispy.

  • my andis came in the mail 2day nd i used this vid to adjust my blade. great video bra

  • dam homie done too may railies

  • LOL the tighter the better lmaoo BigUps!!!

  • does andis come with promate? or similar to promate?

  • my line-ups go uneven after about 4-5 days. would u recommend using the t-outliner to maintain it?

  • @asiansuss4 use the t-outliner, but also use a straight blade...it cuts it much cleaner and it will last like 2 weeks

  • thanks def helped

  • i think the edgers is better because they smaller and lighter ans you can do the same thing that the outliners do and if you don't have the special clippers to do graphics you can do it with the T-edgers better but this is a good video tho.

  • Big up to my west indian dem, my boy! It sound like u from Rock... gud tingz, my boy

  • @dabartist

    Good looking out!

  • thanks

  • Great video it helped me out a lot, before this video I had to take my edgers to my barber to adjust them for me!

  • @eric77026 Lol, yeah my barber adjusts mine for me too. This video may have just changed that so.

  • Great video it helped me out a lot, before this video I had to take my edgers to my barber to adjust them for me!

  • When adjusting the blades don't line them up evenly..that causes cutting of the skin! Andis are the best on the market you just have to keep them Oiled, cleaned, and adjusted a lil bit

  • hey i have the Andis Pivotpro and when i try to adjust them they either dont cut good or they cut the skin, do yu have any tips?

  • thx man

  • dam dat nigga hockin luugeeysss lmao 1:01 and1:06

  • i have the same outlier for personal use but i made the mistake to let my friend use it and now it seems to be pulling my hair instead of cutting it out, ive taken the blades on and off and oiling them... any advice?

  • Thankx a shitload man! Thumbs up!

  • hey i have the same outliners and my bottom blades always stop moving in the middle of a cut .....WHY?

  • @Maroboyjayone your battery could be going dead...or maybe a short i the cord

  • hi, does your adjustment video work on the andis outliner2? (not the t-outliner) i got it a couple days ago and it just wont cut sharp at all.. please help me, or should i get the regular andis t-outliner?? please help

  • Do you have to use that type of blade cleaner or can you use any kind?

  • I just sharpened my boyfriends andis by watching this tutorial...works great.

  • Awesome vid man! I got an Outliner today and it was kinda sharp... but not sharp enough. I followed this vid and now they cut super close! They're perfect!

  • Thanks ! epic

  • How come your t-outliner sounds so quiet? Mine sounds like a door buzzer when I bought it. It was so loud I had to stop using it.

  • @jibstar I just got an andis T outliner delivered the other day. I was dissappointed with the machine after seeing all the major barbers on here use it.

so i unscrewed the grey bit and found that there is a piece of sponge between some bit inside...you'll c it...and depending on how big that sponge piece was the noise changed, so that might b it........

after all the hoo haa its a nice machine....still prefer my lil wahl 5star outliner tho....ill adjust my andis n c whats good with it

  • i live in england and these trimmers always over heat and tips?

  • @r1kelly100 all andis clippers use american voltage, since you live in england your going to have to get a voltage converter in order to get it running right.

  • @eighthedition1 whats up man ... i live in France i got the same problem i bought the voltage converter but the noise still on ... do you know how can adjust it ..

  • Great Video I have been looking for someone to hook a brother up on how to clean and sharpen this clippers of mine. Thanks again

  • Lol thats awsome, I know your a professional but I would never take apart my clippers i might break it or something lol

  • which andis t outiner is the best? cuz im planning to get one...and how much can i get it for brand new?

  • Thx for the tip, I've been tryin like crazy to make my outliner sharper without succes. This video is da shit!!!!!!!

  • fff

  • hahahahaha is it dark outside? i can hear the coqui frogs outside (thats what we call them in puertorico). You must live in the Caribbean somewhere.

  • hey on my andis t outliner by the head it looks kinda crooked when i screw it back on is that a problem?

  • 4:36 his voice sounds like the movie (the fourth kind) lol

  • lol

  • Great Video

  • Can I use this in a 230 V socket ? anyonw who knows this

  • life saver thanx....

  • I just got the Andis T-Edjer Today and I thought it sucked because it was'nt giving me a sharp shape up. Then I remembered you can sharpen the cut from watching this video. Now they cut so sharp and crisp they leave a white line around my hairline. Thanx Man!

  • @daagentlatin09 - was it the same model as the one hes using

  • Good lookin' out with the video, I thought my machine was broken but I just had to tighten it.

  • the best

  • Word

  • big up man..but u speak like a caribbean..are u?..good video

  • o took of the blade, but the t liner screws at 1:55 are so hard to come off for me, what should i do ?

  • so is the Andis Clippers the best one to get?

  • good video man!

  • do the blades have to be leveled or next to each other.or on top of each other

  • my outliners still fucked......i tried everything he explained but when i turn on the button it just buzzes and nothing moves........Imma cop a next one from the flea market

  • i think i know whats wrong, you get fake shit from the flea market.

  • ^ WORD!

  • This was so helpful thank you so much! I will certainly recommend this video and your website to others thanks again.

  • dabarist, look i have an andis styliner 2 so when i open it it dont have that lil top screw, what do i do with that one to adjust it? if you can help me out with that one fam id really apriciate it!

  • Good shit DOG!

  • man, thanks for the video...my shit is razor sharp now bruh!!

  • Thanks for the video now my trimmers are back to normal. I just adjusted the blade like you said and didnt need to open the entire clipper.

  • two product....andis master clippers(for actual cutting the hair) and andis t outliner( for outling the hair line and givin it that precision cut)....two of the best products on the market and are worth the money and has a very long life

  • man wtf,,,,PLEASE disregard this video....there is no need to open the entire trimmers open bcuz you ruin the risk of damaging the inside mechanisms and second, bcuz the average user will not use the clippers like a barber would so the clippers wont be in that bad of shape that you have to open the entire thing....beside open the entire case does nothin for the sharpest of the cut

  • you need to do it some times, maybe 2 times a year, cause the hair enter to the clipper/outliner and fuck up your machine, i open yesterday, cause my clipper let me some hair longer, and i use my machine every 1 or 2 weeks, for 6 months, nice day dude !

  • Hey i have an Andis "Outliner II" and I was having the same problem. I opened the box and didn't perform at all. I watched this video and made the adjustments and now it cuts great! Thank you for your help!

  • do u have to do this rite away when u bought it out of the box ??or is it good for outlining when u get it brand new for a couple of times until it has to be adjusted?

  • I knew about adjusting the T-blade, but i never knew to tighten that screw inside! Finding this video was a blessing! Thanks Man!

  • which is better the t outliner or the t outliner II ?

  • both are great...but if chosing just one go with the t outliner, its the more popluar choice

  • i think its about time for me 2 get another pair....ive had mine for bout 7 years...

  • i had a pair of andis t outliners sence like 1994, but I have had 2 different pairs of BLADES, I've never had a body to die out but I do replace the blades every so often

  • thanks a lot really

  • Thanks for the vid, man. Very helpful.

  • i got this exact blade at home...is that stictly for shape ups? or you can cut hair with it too?

  • na its just for shape up but u can use it for like skin tight tapers but dont use it to cut hair

  • i already used it for cuttin...its beeen actin funny ever since. and its not as hot as it used to be.anything i could do about that?

  • i think what you need to do is when you are lining up the t blade with the rest of the blade use a mirror so they are exactly the same becuz if the t blade is too out or uneven it will cut your skin you want it to be even

  • thanks for the vid man you helped alot

  • yea man u got the point but instead of pushing it up without knowing if its str8 use a mirror its better ull know that u got a nice and even str8 edge

  • Man...those Pro-Mate blades are not working. Do you think DaBartist? You suggested Pro-Mate and the Pro-Mate videos made them look pretty good.

50% said they were good, 50% also had the same problem of them not cutting.

I noticed the teeth are longer.

My T-Outliners work great when I switch back to the standard blades.

Any suggestions? I've adjusted. I also notice that the Pro Mate doesn't sit on the clippers where the hole is like the other blades.

    Thanks

  • thanks!

  • very helpful video , however, lol, u made it look easier then what it was, but still very helpful, not my outliners get razor sharp, all i use the str8 edge for now is the peach fuzz

  • yo i tried clean my outliner and my machine just broke lmao. I was trying to tighten the upper screw when you open the machine up but i ended up hitting the white taped box and it put a lil hole in it lol

  • yeah that what happens that no need to even open the entire clipper bcuz it does NOTHIN for the sharpness....hope you get a new pair and learn from your mistakes

  • He's on point about cleanliness but you can't eyeball the blade. You have to press the blade against a flat surface and tilt the blade in order to line it up properly, otherwise you're going to cut someone. There are a few tutorials that demonstrate proper blane setting.

  • is it the same for the outliner ll

  • yo ive been cuttin my own hair/ beard for the past ten years. this vid blew my mind yo!!! good look on the tutorial!!! for real RESPECT!!!

  • Good tutorial man. Great tips thanks.

  • Good video, but for the record, you are not sharpening the blade but you're adjusting the blade.

  • @alsmillions the title does say adjusting ur andis t outline and wen u cut the line will be sharper

  • @myswagisaproblem The title was changed after him. That was a year ago. You need to catch up brother. If you listen to him talk he says I'm going to show you how to sharpen the blade. He's adjusting the blade for a sharper cut, he's not sharpening the blade.

  • you the shit man I started cutting my sons hair a trip to the barber for us was 45 to 50 dollars and nobody in the biz wanted to tell me how to get my clippers sharper like it was some ancient chinese secret

  • yo ths video is very helpful man thnks

  • word....gud video

  • great vid. very helpful.
