  • love the Tesla riff !!!

  • i just got one today, but i got the "Texas red" one. i love it

  • haha i love how you switch from classical to heavy metal on this video

  • Oooh man, I really want this amp,

    *-*

    I always see this video..

    hahahahaha

  • Very good man!!

Are you playing for fun, or is this some music??

    So pretty! :D

  • WONDERBOY!!!!!

  • maed in indonesia

  • MAN, HOW DID YOU SET YOUR AMP?

  • Its a massive long shot, but do you know the clean settings you were running for this for the first section? It sounds so freakin' sweet!!

  • Had one, sold it for $5 because I didn't know how much the thing would run for initially

  • @FreeHugs330 noob.

  • should i prefer this or a mustang?

  • @XRISTAR5 mustan has alot more stuff than this its basicly the same but with more features for the same price

  • @XRISTAR5 ... I own one of these, they are cheap, sound great, will never break!... I use an RP255 with it, gives me more flexibility and options than the newer Mustang... just my own personal opinion

  • I have one of these and want to sell it, for how much should I sell it?

  • not that smack that

  • Dude whats the song your playing at 1:32 ??

  • @ELLISD16 Light Shine Down Collective Soul. My fave of the 90s.

  • @Swiggles1987 Yeah thx man definitely gotta learn that!

  • tube amp right?

  • @AlbiSancho no its soild state but this amp rules haha

  • The newer Frontman series amps are SO much more attractive (visually) than the older metal-grill 90's version I had as a kid...

  • I just ordered this amp and i'm nervous. most vids i see are only done in clean tones.

  • @Zepp3849 You buy this amp for the clean tones.. its a fender. It will take pedals no sweat. I own this amp.. its a sturdy little amp. It will take a boss metal zone without blinking..

  • @wedge070 cool man, i'm actually suprised how good this thing actually sounds.

  • Sounds like tenaciouse D xD

  • nice playin the fender frontman 25r sounds great to me A lot of people put these amps down

  • How do you like the amp is it good for rhcp stuff like that some blues

  • Dream Theater! :)

  • does this amp come with a cable?

  • what kind of guitar are you playing?

  • Hey guys is this better than the orange crush pix 35 ldx, I will playing a epiphone dot studio and oasis style music. Thanks for any help !

  • Hey guys is this better than the orange crsu

  • dream theather? nice..

  • @hellbound2222 wat song

  • @25thBullet dream theather - misunderstood

  • is this amp loud enough to use in gig?? AS in mini gig... lol

  • one question, this is a tube amp, or transistor? thanks in advance! and how much does it cost?

  • @KeloUnlimited

It's not a tube amp, it only costs $100 brand new.

  • wich song at the 1:32 min. are you playing?

    great amp!

  • @chelobones shine down by collective soul I believe correct me if im wrong

  • @chelobones

    Collective Soul song.

Heaven let your light shine down... I think the song is called Shine.

  • is this good for a metallica sound???? i have already a metal and chorus pedal but what about tapping and soloing????

  • People always seem to complain about this amp but it's actually super great sounding, especially for it's price. Try cranking the Treble, Middle and Bass knobs, keeping very low reverb (about 2) and mid gain (4.5-5.5) and you get a crazy tone for AC/DC style stuff, and i suggest you get a booster/distortion pedal and put it on the same settings above and it'll sound great! I'm sure you won't have hard time getting a good clean sound out of this amp.

  • GOOD FOR AC/DC ????

  • Bravo!

  • hey so i was thinking about buying one of these and using it and my spider 3 75 watt. I wanted to have the ability to use the line 6 on all distorted settings and switch to this amp for cleans only. Good idea?

  • This amp has great cleans and a really nice solo tone at gain channel. The riffing tone is just ok. But for the money it's a damm impressive amp

  • shine by collective soul

  • hey bro do u think taht the dist of this amp is good? o line 6 iispider is the best..!¿?

  • @3301pepe depends on what kinda sound you want. I have a line 6 spider, and I can't get a good rock tone out of it at all, just metal tones. This amp is good for rock tones, but not for metal, as the line 6 is good for metal tones, not rock.

  • @3301pepe i have this amp, the distortion is acually pretty bad... theres no nois reduction so it rings like crazy... but i have a vox tonelab does the job well. So if you pair it with some middle man its better. but i cant say wich is better. For heavy metal this is not a great amp, but on clean its tremendous.

  • @3301pepe if you are to choose between the two go for the fender

  • what the name of the song ur playing around 1:40

  • Comment removed

  • Sonic Youth?

  • Shine I think

  • shine by collective soul

  • cool sound, by the way whats the name of the song he was playing. thanx

  • Thanks

  • What is the size of the of the hole for the guitar cable? Please some one reply

  • Im pretty sure its a 1/4 inch. That's the standard size.

  • Does this amp sound good with effect pedals?

  • @jonfender123 it sounds great it just depends on what and how many pedals youre using

  • @guitarlord247 what about the 65 watt version and a gt10 boss?

  • @MrJackanthony it should sound great, although i personally prefer using the built in distortion but its up to you man

  • Been reading a lot about people buying this amp and swapping the stock cone for an Eminence Ragin' Cajun ($65) and seriously raving about the improvement. An old guitar buddy of mine (whose opinion I've learned to trust) endorsed the idea so I ordered a 25R and RC cone a few days ago.

  • I'd be interested in hearing how it turns out. The speaker in my Blackstar just blew and I'm thinking of just trading it in as is toward one of these. Call me crazy, but I just don't feel like ordering another speaker, and I already have a cajun here at my apartment. Can't put it in the blackstar, though, cuz it's an 8 ohm. The Blackstar's 16 ohms.

  • The results are pretty good. Volume level 4 is too loud for practice but the tone stays clean at that level. I've never had any use for Fender's built-in distortion and the 25R is more of the same. I'm having only one small problem: the low end notes (E thru Ab) create a "buzz/rattle" that I can't locate. This goes away as I turn the volume down. I may need to remove/reinstall the speaker.

  • yay just bought this amp on musician's friend can't wait to try it out with my G2.1 u pedal

  • i'll be there!

  • man i cant wait to see how this amp is gonna sound with a vox wah pedal, a dall arbiter fuzzface, and a uni vibe

  • i had an old version of this and it never let me down id probably buy another one cause i loved this amp

  • Auction? Come on dude! It's a hundred dollar amp. Go out and get a new one with full warranty and 30 day money back policy that most large chains offer. Great practice amp for the money.

  • im not gonna lie i dont like the distortion channel on this amp too much, but take my advice people: play on the clean channel on the frontman and turn the volume all the way up to 10 and set the bass and middle knobs somewhere around 9 or 10 and pop the treble somewhere around 7 or 8, then turn your tone knobs on the guitar down to around the 4 5 or 6 range and use the volume control to get less or more gain to the amp, i promise you will like what sound comes out of it

  • 1:40

    what song ??

  • collective soul - shine

  • i have this amp..its a good practice amp, the gain sound kinda....dirty..would sound great with gibson dirty finger pickups, but if youre looking for a great sounding amp with clearer sound and over great tone and control, the VOX vt15 has you covered.

  • Is this good for nirvana, AC/DC and etc?

  • si :)

  • definately.

especially nirvana cuz the clean channel really has a single coil feel

  • hey dude which song were you playing int he very start..is it an intro tosome song? sounded very familiar..and yeah i liked your tone...I am confused between this amp and a Spider Jam..since i dont do gigging so i dont have high requirments

  • is this amp good with processors ?

  • I have this amp it sounds great with an electric or acoustic, don't waste your money on a acoustic amp just get this you will be glad you did.

  • does the footswitch it comes with switch it from the drive setting to the clen setting or does it add reverb??

  • Great amp. With a pedal this amp is amazing. It's perfect for small areas and single playing. If you're looking to buy an affordible amp that's worth every cent I highly recomend this. Works great in my bedroom with my Fender Strat.

  • can this go with drummer or no?

  • I bought this amp a month ago. Perfect for the basement/bedroom jammer. For 99.00 bucks its a steal. Plays silky smooth as a blues amp, but put some pedals in front..wammo baby it can shred. Solid state amps have come a long way since I started playing. Its built quite solid. I did swap out the speaker with an eminence ragin cajun. Made it even better.. Its a great buy!

  • is it good playing metal??

or should i buy marshall or line 6?

  • Line 6 is nothing but trouble for me. The effects come in and out as they please and the distortion is weak. I would go with a marshall.

  • Marshall or Line 6 will definitely be better for Metal.

  • i have this amp. and i own a PRS MIRA guitar. the amp sounds great clean when you are finger picking but i still cant get that clean quality sound when strumming open chords. with metal core pedal the amp sounds like a monster.

  • yea.. im thinking about marshall mg15fx

  • I played that amp this Sunday at Guitar Center. It gets some really awesome tone, and the "Marshall" distortion

is killer.....:-) I actually thought we were playing through the 50watt mg50fx next to us,and then realized the sound was coming out of the 15 watter!!! Amazing!

  • ok! (: then i'm gonna buy that ! (:

  • is that distortion from amp only?

  • nice sound...what song is that?...It's killing me

  • Collective Soul....

  • Misunderstood, Dream Theater

  • is that straight to the amp no whammy effect pedals?

  • Do you think this is good practise amp for playing blues & jazz licks Its on sale for $99 bucks

  • Oh yeah

  • this thing good for a small gig with like 500 people max..like a skating rink?

  • No, I would get at least a 75 watt for any gigs, you can always turn it down.

  • depends on what you play... solid state will save you BIG BUCKS, nuff to get you a better AX... donnay buy into the TUBE is better chit...of course a Fender princeton is GOD like, but then so are Vickeys Secrets Models, BUT, we arent all Rich..so get a BETTER AX and a Solid state amp

  • dream theater - misunderstood intro

  • is that the distortion at like 1:20 from the amp?

  • does this amp only have that one switch able type of distortion?

  • What guitar are you using for the demo?

  • i have this amp and am wondering what dist pedals sound good with it

    any suggestions

  • ibanez Sm7 it i cheap and very great in Canada it costs like $75!

  • isnt it a fake then?

  • will it handell a drummer?

  • would you gig with this?

  • maybe in a small room like a cafe or something. that's my problem becuase I have one big bass amp that gets really loud really fast. but I just have a little practice amp which can't play over anything for my guitar. so I need something small but big. haha I'm look at 212r

  • you'll need something bigger to gig with like the frontman 65r

  • i own one i got for 189 bucks and i recommend it. it is a great amp for all types of music.

P.S i recommend getting a distortion pedal or cry baby!+)

  • Im gonna buy this amp I heard that the Distortion on Fender Amp R they sound bad but from this video it doesnt sound too bad Besides it also depends on your guitar

  • check the marshall mg15dfx

  • Wrong there my friend... haha it depends on how you play not the guitar

  • I´m gonna buy this amp and a epiphone g-400.Fender ROCKSSS!!!

  • i have a g-400 hundred. and im getting this amp. haha

  • what's an amp with good distortion?

  • Orange Crush 30r combo

  • Marshall 1959HW Plexi Reissue.

  • I have a Mega Amp and it sounds nice

  • its all about how you like the distortion to sound so that means you would have to go and test many amps to determine that question.

  • I heard two songs that sounded like Tenacious D songs XP

They sounded like Malibu Nights and Wonderboy.

Anyway. This is an amp I've been looking into buying. It looks and sounds great. So I know my purchase will be well worth it. Thanks for this video. Also, great playing man.

  • do you recomend this one to me...ive been playing guitar for about 5 months and im going to buy an electric but i need an amp...do you recomend this one?

  • i have that amp as well and i can recommend it to you. it's a solid amp especially for beginners....

  • is the distortion okay on it? I'm thinking of buying it as my starter amp too, and someone said the drive channel sucked

  • yeah i think the distortion could be better but the clean channel is great especially for that price

  • No matter what solid-state amp you buy, the distortion will never be up to par. My recommendation is either buy a TS-9 overdrive pedal to put in front of the clean channel, or surf your local Craigslist for an inexpensive tube amp. Some lesser known models can be easily under 200 bucks.

  • nonsense, most high gain solid states have twice (or more) the gain of a comparable tube amp.

  • By "distortion", I mean the switchable type. It always sounds tinny and brittle.

  • not always. not to kick a dead horse, but dimebag used solid state exclusively. sure it'll take some getting used to if you're switching from tubes. especially if you're talking about a little 15 watt practice amp...what do you really expect? lol

  • Its good for heavy rhythm rock... nice chuging sound if you know how to dial it in the amp..

  • @Mrbegals is it work for death metal and some extreme shit ??

  • @UninvitedSoul i rather you get a better amp.. its okay but its too muddy..

just look for a good tube amp.. like a peavey valveking.. in the end your going to want a better amp so dont waste money on a cheap amp.. look for used amps they are just as good as a new one just test it out first.

  • @Mrbegals I'd love to get a very nice amp with a high price , it dosen't matter!!

but in our music store , the best thing there is that shitty amp.

I am dreaming of Marshall or Line 6 , but how can i get one :S :S

  • @UninvitedSoul if you go to guitar center yuo can buy a line 6 for 99 dollars but you have to go to guitar center or have them ship it to you

  • whats ur settings? it sounds awesome!! i can never get that kind of sound out of mine. are you boosting or cutting the mids?

  • the clean version he was palying sounded like tenacious D i think.

  • tenacious d are acoustic

  • yeah i know, i used to love them. was he playing wonderboy by tenacious d?

  • what was the first song you started playing? or was it original composition

  • What is the song you played with distortion called? The long one.

  • shine by collective soul

  • What is your settings man msg me back pease

  • it sounds a little distorted but not alot cuz there arnt pickups so it wont get the vibrations from the string. if u use a pocket pod then ull get a pretty good distortion

  • I have a Frontman 65w, its a cool great amp,

    I'll trade it just for a 5150 ow a HIwatt !

  • what is your settings?

  • I just bought that same amp yesterday

  • i was going to buy a new amp and need someones opinion on what is better ...this or a Marshall MG30DFX

  • i got a fender frontman 25r but socks

and the marshall is very good

but the clean isn´t very good =S=S

    buy a marshall !! ^^

sorry for my english xd i speak

    spanish ...

  • definitly this really the mg line e awuful and the frontman is a very nice amp dude

  • i got marshall mg30dfx it`s very good amp

sorry for my english i speak finish

  • The Marshall distortion better conceals inconsistent playing but the Fender allows more expression and defined punch. If you have a Distortion pedal that is good for the Metalish noisy hide playing thing get the Fender, clean is way better tooand the spring reverb to me is preferable. If you have the other kind of pedal OD like Tube Screamer or Boss OD series already maybe get the Marshall. But I still would go the Fender 25r. I was miking one on real gigs and loving it in my monitor.

  • How much is this?

  • i've got the same amp, it's great for its price :)

  • Any advicec that what amplifier should I buy under 200euros?

  • What guitar is that?

  • misunderstood in the beggining...right?

    I'm a DT fan too!

    However don't like dist!

  • i ordered it~ does i come wit the cable?

  • hey man that amplifier need reverb footswitch?

  • Hey my frontman was great until recently it starts crakclin at 3! Ususally it does this near 5 or 6 but its doing it at 3...is there a solution to this or am i out another couple hundred bucks for an amp?

  • i just bought this amp today and it kinda sux... no high volume and reverb knob doesnt work

  • go for the 212r it still works great for a practice or gig amp and ive never had any problems with mine

  • whell it is a solid state amp u know's .......

  • Hey dude whats you EQ for your dirty tone? cos i tend to have mine 4 gain, 4 treble, 8 mids, 6 bass and no reverb.....?

  • thx 4 this video.

    it helps.

  • Anyone who doesn't know that this 25R is a killer amp for the price doesn't know amps. Line 6 is a healthy alternative NOT (piece of junk--you'll get it when it craps out). This demo really shows what it will do. I sold one but regret it. I have a Twin Reverb now, but this 25r was a great practice amp for the price. Your demo is great-you have real talent. The only thing that would sound different thru my TR would be volume! Great job demonstrating this amp. If you wanna sell it, contact me!
