its not fair that you see more and more shows doing this. for a fan of the paranormal i want to see things that are facts and the truth. they are just fiddling around and i hope that one of these days they get the living shit scared out of them lets see if they have the guts to find out what or who it was that scared them...

Well said torchy 1970. And you wasn't the first person to petition the Government either.. how can you have been? Many many people complained beforehand but without back up just had to hope the show would be stopped. You nor anyone else has the right to make light of someone elses work in stopping it. I wouldn't mind but you barely talk about MH on your site. It's tucked away with no priority in just one section. That speaks volumes to me. Be careful about taking the credit without proof.

I was the worlds first person to expose MH and Derek Acorah as fake!

I petitioned the government to change the law which they did regarding the FMA.

The govermnet did not change the law just because of yoru petition and at yoru request!And I tell you what...it was the worse thing that could have happend.Now any person can claim to be a medium,at least before they had to be a spiritualist and not allowed to charge..Now they can,all under the banner of entertainment..yup well done!

OFCOM stated it is just a spoof entertainment show and not a serious paranormal investigation, so thats that.

They can fake as much as they like and it means nothing.

The old law was a joke Kendra, we are in the crap we are now BECAUSE of that useles law.

Now there is no difference between being a medium and a double glazing salesman, you all have to provide the service you claim and if you dont you face the consumer law.

BadPsychics...so are you implying that esoteric are wasting their time? Ummm...let's see your site contains many MH stories and accounts. Shouldn't you be doing something similar? Actions speak louder than words and if you're not willing to help stop the fakery and dangers of MH I suggest you don't cast stones at anyone else. Talk is cheap. But I suppose it's okay for MH to fool people just so long as we don't try and do anything positive about it. You should support it not belittle it.

Going back some 30 odd yrs when I was in my teens, a couple of mates of mine decided to try a quija board while their parents were out, the result ended up in one of my friends being psycholociaclly screwed, they were imagining alsorts happening, things flying round the house etc and this was long before the days of MH. This is what worries me about this program, people do TAKE it seriously and will copy whats on there. Ban the flamin program !!!

You have so missed the point of the interview Jon. I don't know..if it's not just about dodgy mediums you just don't get it ! It's not about whether MH is "real" or whether the mediums are fake..that's OLD NEWS despite the number of threads you have on BP about it !

Well done esoteric. We need more radio and tv talks shows like this one. I can't commend you enough for bringing this nonsense to the fore and trying to stop what is potentially a dangerous and completely disprectful sham. Thank you Idazine, so many people and groups will say how they are sick and tired of this programme and the damage it has done and will continue to do if left as it has been, unchecked.We just thought enough is enough, and recorded the interview and added visual to load it to Youtube to hopefully make more people realise what a danger MH is.
