Production of "ATOMIC BETTY REDUX" is currently under way, 'monkeys'. But there's no definite premiere date, as yet....

Why, 'Angel'? Because Sam Register, who was in charge of Cartoon Network at the time he programmed "ATOMIC BETTY" in 2004, was replaced at the end of 2005. Shortly thereafter, new management decided they could do without the show (as well as "HI HI PUFFY AMI YUMI", which Register also created for them), and pulled it from the schedule. It wasn't until the fall of 2010 that "The Hub" cable network resurrected it, with the remaining episodes CN didn't bother to schedule...

Originally seen in Canada in September 2007. Now, most fans have had the opinion, "Couldn't the show just concentrate more on Betty being a Galactic Guardian in space, and just cut back on her home life on Earth?". This clever little story, a "cliffhanger" from the last episode of season two, literally fuses the two "worlds", and nothing is ever the same again....

@fromthesidelines I was wondering why they did that, too. Maybe the writers ran out of ideas and thought they'd go with the Earth missions gimmick since they ran out of space stuff. Just guessing, though.
