I've both heard and seen a basenji bark on several occasions. Not only did I see it. My gf (her dog), her little brother, AND her dad all saw and heard it. Every time it has been when its food was in the bowl, but someone was holding it about to put it down. And the dog barked, so i guess it was a good old, HURRY UP DAMMIT.
