  • creepy as fuck did anyone else not like dummys or dolls after this?

  • @waluigiland I had a toy ventriloquist dummy as a kid back in the 1970s, after I saw the TV trailer for Magic I never touched it again.

  • @cha5 haha same here i could remember STANDING in front of my TV (remember those huge all in one TV's?) I was 5 and that damn trailor came on. I pissed myself and shut the thing off and I was never the same. lol One of my few memories from that long ago. wow internet is nuts.

  • Such a great flick...poor misunderstood Corky.

  • When I was in Chicago I think, I saw William Goldman's book in a university bookstore as part of the required reading for a literature course.

Now I know that it inspired by "Dead of Night" and that there is a meme (Chocky? Twilight Zone, Dead of Night, Magic).

    Any other haunted dummies?

  • is this the one where, in one scene, the dummy comes running thru a door, slamming it open and running thru it, I think I remember seeing this when i was a little kid and it scared the hell outta me hehe

  • @BlacKnightRising Nope, your thinking of Childs Play. In this one the dummy isn't alive.

  • @BlacKnightRising thats Mr. Marbles, Kramers dummy in an old Seinfeld episode.

  • i love this film, it's hilarious

  • great music, great film.
