why does it have such a crazy timbre as if it was mixed with synth trumpet? and why doesn't he fully opens accordion's bellows as it's determined to open while playing this kind of instrument?

I love folk music and most of all I LOVE the accordion. It's a Shame that these times folk is listened by just a bunch of people.
The tradition that this music stand for are going to be forgotten. I come from Italy (26 years old) where youngster's minds have been invaded by plastic shit. Don't mistake me! I like electronic music too! But i hate Plastic Shit!
I'm from the US, and I love this song. Don't let some of the idiots I share my country with give you all a bad impression of Americans. Some of us, are pretty smart, and can enjoy music such as this.
@constantinbogdanionu hahahaah there was a Balkan state called YUGOSLAVIA my friend..... Romania wasn't a part of it but we eaqualy loved you. Long live Yuga
@rakhyvel The Balkans are a mountain region that is covering most of the south of Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Makedonia, and the north of Greece. This region has received both Byzantin and Ottoman influences ... See Wikipaedia for details.
Marvellous, Marvellous Stefan Georgiev. How the bulgarian music is unique, marvellous and special. If you like accordeon and want to see one also beautiful accordeon see this group of folklore music of south Brazil, search for: Tio Mederico- Dvd Os Serranos 40 anos- Sempre Gaúchos. Other I liked and found very beautiful is the father and his son making a contest in accordeon: search for Marcelo e Voninho
It's unbelievable listening to this how much of progressive rock (AREA in Itlay) or rock fusion is taken from this music. Thank you for uploading it! fantastic!!
The talented Bulgarian accordionist Stefan Georgiev is playing in the manner of a genuine virtuoso the Bulgarian folk melody, "A Virtuoso-like Tangle (Interlaced) Dance = Virtouozna Pletenitsa."
i agree brother, i love the balkan music, respect to romania and bulgaria and serbia and bosnia...BEST MUSIC ON THE PLANET,imagine if all of us joined?? respect to all the people of good will..

Ignore them. ( Btw, I wonder what great talent they have? Also: you have the face you're born with, and I have a funny feeling the authors of those comments don't resemble Johnny Depp/ Angeline Jolie...
LOL even the backing track sounds insane. This guy is just like mwaaaaahahhahahahha time to hypnotize everyone with my accordian wooooooh!!!! Love balkan music, especially if it's been played on accordian XD
You don't know what you're talking about. You just don't UNDERSTAND balkan music. Our music is based off of centuries of Byzantine and Ottoman rule. As for rhythm, this is in 6/8 or 2/4 the melody is a mixture of triplets and duplets and much more. It's typical to have an improvisation solo in the middle or end. It's just too advanced for you, even me, but I'm willing to admitt it.
@vw1971 I'm talking about the melodies, not this particular set up in this video buddy. I am not particularily found of most balkan videos. it's about the music.
Наистина в очите на Стефан се чете голямата му любов към акордеона и музиката, която свири. Той сякаш се слива с акордеона и се пренася в други измерения. Бъди жив и здрав!

WHAT!!!! This is only about 500 notes per minute (sometimes he does 16ths so 700 notes per minute +) Those numbers are high but not That high. I'm usually running at 1000 notes per minute! Check Out Gus Viseur, Cory Pesaturo, Angelo Di Pippo, Ionica Minune. THEN you'll see fast.
What, is it a race to see how fast you can finish the song? It is a pity some play so fast the song is finished before it is started! The ears cannot keep up!
there is nothing fake in his playing...his speed is normal for this type of music...every accordion player(medium level and up) in Balkans can play this kind of music...if you wanna see fast, check Ionica Minune on youtube... by the way ,this "geampara" sounds beautiful...
