  • He's absolutely fabulous on the blues harp man! First time i saw it i was blown away.

  • Great Song. Awesome for the road to!!!

  • most underrated movie.

  • A very funny movie and a great ending by Blues Traveller. Look for BT lead sing John Popper as the MC at the bowling finale.

  • Great song. Too bad there is no good music like this these days. Now we're stuck with talent-less crap like Justin Beiber, Lady Gaga, Drake, and System of a Down. Sign of the times, I guess.

  • @unclebobpart2

there's tons of good music out there, just not really on the radio. SOAD is on your list of crappy relevant artists of today? They've been around for 13+ years, and haven't released an album in 6.

  • @wikkid2 sing it sister...people remember ''the good old days'' and don't bother trying to find the great hidden music that is around these days..

  • @unclebobpart2 Drake's actually pretty good and so is lady gaga but justin bieber sucks dick, yeah some new music sucks i would have to agree on that, but some new music isn't that bad, you just have to variety with it just like the good old music

  • BYE BROTHER MUNSON, BYE WHORE! LMFAO i love kingpin

  • @unclebobpart2

And System of a Down is absolutely not talent-less, just maybe not your taste. There is still lot's of good music being produced today, just need to look a bit harder :)

Have a look at the new Adam Gussow solo album Kick and Stomp, great harmonica player (and teacher)!

  • @unclebobpart2 check out the Black Keys..lonely boy..or howlin at ya...so many songs.. very cool.

  • @unclebobpart2 you are not looking hard enough, chart music has been crap for 20 yrs, stop moaning and go see some unsigned bands play.

  • Then you've obviously never heard of doctor feelgood......

but...these fellahs do it for me ..great track !

  • One of the most perfect comedies made. This ending is so perfect.

  • On of the most perfect comedies made. This ending is so perfect.

  • bye brother munson, bye whore lmfao!!!!!!!!

  • what movie is this

  • @Margareeiswonderful Are you serious? It's in the title of the video. I'm not going to tell you what it is, because it's quite obvious. Just look at the title.

  • i dont know if this is a coincidence or not but apparently the only musical instrument that the amish are allowed to play is the harmonica

  • classic credits song for a classic film....harmony!

  • they need to release this on Karaoke. Love to sing John Popper

  • Big boy got some lungs on him! Both singin', and blowin' the Harp would give me instant C.O.P.D. Have a younger friend that looks identical to him! Beard and all! Godd stuff!

  • I wonder if John Popper can play the vagina like that...

  • It always bothered me to see this film on TV....because they completely chopped the ending to remove this footage. I clearly remember it from seeing it in the theater though.

  • Lol Ish is one crazy son of a b*tch

  • THIS TRACK IS A PIECE OF ART AND SHOULD BE AWARDED IN SOME WAY OR ANOTHER. LOVE IT (L)

  • i want a hat like that

  • awesome movie awesome ending awesome jam awesome band

  • Is it me or does the young amish boy white shirt @ 0:25 0:45 1:02 1:29 2:20 2:38 look like Dexter Morgan (Michael C Hall)

  • dam, bass player got skills

  • Bye brother Munson, bye whore! :-)

  • great song, great movie. best harmonica playing i've ever heard. how is he able to sing and play harmonica? one of the great gifts in music

  • excellent underrated film one of the farelly brothers best people just forget it sometimes, 10 out of 10 on getting the end credits on here for a good old reminisce.tata x

  • From Russia!

    Great song!

  • His harmonica skills are sick.

  • man i thought they were gunna show the very end with the pussy licking lady. that's why i looked this up :-(

  • @MrCHRISDOGGG Yes, she's epic :-)

  • bye whore....lol

I have this on vhs & it messes up on the ending credits.

  • Yep, thanks Chrisg, I stand corrected. It's funny, I used to fool around with the mouth harp years ago. Somewhere along the time lines I started referring to the harmonica as a mouth harp, guess that could be confusing. Anywho, thanks for pointing that out to me.....and, as always, happy harping!!!!

  • best harp player that has ever lived

  • 2:15-2:18 has a candlebox feel to it.

  • by brother munson, by whore

  • It's funny, the first time I remember seeing this movie and then listening and watching BT I could not believe that a human was playing some of that stuff on a harmonica. Since those days, I have taken up the mouth harp and become a big fan of BT... RIP Bob. Just keep doing your thing John and things will be cool. Let what happen just happen, nothing we can do about that one.

  • @rmachayes Cool. As long as you know the mouth harp is a completely different instrument.

  • best harmonica solo i've ever heard :)

  • Zoen23, check out Ferenczi Gyorgy. He is hungarian, a singer-songwriter, plays on guitar, bass, violin, and however, in 1993, in Trossingen, he won the "World's best harmonica player" award. And he is a very funny guy as well.

  • Just finished watching Kingpen on Comedy Central, waiting for this song to play through the credits....of course Comedy Central shrunk the credits down to a postage stamp size so they could show a commercial for Josh 2.0. Grrrr! I'm happy to find it here on YouTube, I needed my Blues Traveler fix!

  • @merken I did the same thing lol

  • I lied and told her I loved her, she didn't care but anyway.

  • RIP bobby sheehan...Awesome!

  • Hahahaha!! Bye brother Munson... Bye whore!

  • Kingpin is my favourite movie. :D

  • love the conga line.

  • only blues traveler song i love.

  • Are they actually an Amish band? It must be hard to justify there lifestyle with their religion.

  • @Drassdouche no

  • awesome song

  • I know absolutely nothing about playing the harmonica, but that just sounds f..... awesome!!!

  • I'm likely to start listening to this band soon

    but anyway...

  • great movie, badass jam

  • RIP Bobby Sheehan. Hell of a bassist and what a great solo on this song!

  • that boy plays the shit out of that harmonica hell yeah man

  • watched Kingpin again and just love this song, it's class !

  • Goodbye Brother Munson, goodbye whore. What a film!!!

  • I was in New Orleans last year and they did a free gig the best night ever waht a band.

  • awesome song!!

  • bobby sheehan was brilliant

  • excellent !

  • BYE WHORE

  • i thought they were amish that guitar is electric wtf lol, still good

  • I've never heard anyone play harmonica that well!

  • @zoen23 stevie wonder

  • @zoen23 and u never will again

  • @zoen23 You might be right. I recall Stevie Wonder doing some good playing and Lee Oscar from War, but this might be the most impressive. ...and I must admit, it was the harmonica playing that drew me into the song so much that I had to replay this segment three or four times on a Blockbuster rental...

  • @zoen23 You should check out Sonny Boy Williamson. BT is Great! But Sonny is Great+Soul, or at least, more soul.

  • their fuckin clothes are pretty tight

can you buy amish clothes, like pay them to tailor them for you? or do they shun money, as well.

no amish near me, so this is serious

  • amish ppl prolly make their own clothes, make them

  • One of my fave films!, also excellent soundtrack!

  • "I found out that I have eye cancer from too many television waves." Great line

  • whats that song that plays when munson tells ish

your about to embark on a glorious journey or something...?

  • this song aint my sort of music, but this is catchy!, its a good song, awsome =D

  • feel the same way

  • The bass on this song is outtasite !!!!ok out Bootsy Collins!!!!

  • The everything in this song is outta site! I wish more music was like this.

  • them Amish can partaaaay !!!!

  • Awsome movie, Awsome band What more could you ask for

  • No matter how bad a day you are having....this will make you smile! :)

  • Fucking seconded!! Love this song

  • My candidate for the funniest movie of all time.

  • Crazy Amish...

  • its funny seeing them playing as Amish,, looking very authentic too I might add.. .and .nobody blows a meaner harp than John Popper..nobody!

  • nobody can drive as fast as him, snort coke like him or have as many guns as him too.

  • harp???

  • It's a term for the Harmonica. It's sometimes called a mouth harp or just a harp. Good ole fashion musician lingo.

  • I love this movie and my boyfriend told me about Bluses Traveler and now I love 'em too lol

  • *Blues lol

  • Amish people stage diving. Awesome!

  • They look like real Amish!

  • nice song

  • Bye whore!

  • I love this song. I watched this movie not too long ago, then immediately downloaded the song.

  • that commercial bill murray does wit the kids mom is so funny! "These kids were mearly munson'd out of a father"

  • munson'd in the middle of nowhere... wouldn't wish it on anyone

  • Man..thanks for posting it! This movie is so funny

  • Anyone know where the official video of BT-Hook is? Has really pretty women mouthing the lyrics. miss that video...

  • This song is awesome. Had never heard of them until I saw the film. Bought the cd next day.

  • yea me too when i saw the movie i bought their cd about a week later and i got it signed by them :D

  • I'm a slave to this song.

    Damn you Roy Munson!

  • There are Amish in the county east of me and south of me. In addition, a lot of the framing of new houses is done by Amish carpenters bused in from those neighboring counties. They DO sometimes wear shirts with a little bit of color, but not the purples and aquas you see here.

  • Do they bowl?

  • Randy Quaid kills me!!!!!

  • THE SONG WAS MADE IN 1990

  • cool song love the movie i like roy..

  • What key is that harmonica? A major?

  • That's an E harp.

  • I wonder if these folks are really amish (Not the blues travelers) the audience...

  • i would doubt that real Amish people would want to be in a movie.

  • Flower Power

  • haha

  • Do you have any children, Brother Munson? None that I know of. Uh, I can't have children - nasty cheese grating accident.

  • I suddenly believe your name really is Rachel, and that you're a girl- no man would joke about cheese graters on the lower extremities: the Phantom Pain is a real piece of, er, phantom pain. Bad girl, no penis destruction jokes, BAD girl!

  • Oh, I'm sorry. I hope you didn't experience any sympathy pains. I just think that line is hilarious. It reminds me of Spinal Tap..."What happened to your last drummer? Bizarre gardening accident." I love that kind of humor.

  • Welll that wasn't the best part- the best part was when the current drummer thought he would have to survive because it was just statistically impossible for what, five drummers to die in bizarre accidents.

  • that was from the movie.

anyway, that was a great line, but my favorite, though it isn't really a "One liner" is when he is asked to take the shoes off of the horses, and comes out of the barn with their hooves. Then you see the horse later and it is a lot shorter :p

also, a good line; "Do you drink anymore" "um, no.. ye, uhh, um, well.. n.. why, why are you buying?"

  • Munson with a full bucket and milk mustache - "I milked the cow." "We don't have a cow...We have a bull." "I'm going to go brush my teeth."

  • Heck with the humor, it was great to see Mark Roth throwing a bowling ball again! Great ending for this movie.

  • yea this is a hilarious movie and i don't think enough people give it credit for how good it is

  • I love the movie Kingpin. My favorite lines are: "What did I just say?" "I think I tore my sac?" I love how Randy Quaid dances to this song. He is such a versatile actor.

  • kingpin is such a complete, well rounded movie

  • Anybody have Ooh La La by Red Eye? Let me know.

  • A nice record of BT before death and disease hit the band.

    Great bass solo...

  • Bobby Sheehan is one of the greatest bass players that ever lived. His loss in 1999 was a terrible shame.

Guys just don't play bass like that. He was a true artist.

  • YOU be careful among the English.

  • I wish that I could rock the mouth harp like Big John!

  • Love BT as Amish! just goes to show you that you can rock anywhere.

  • At 1:26 is that a cameo with Kelly McGillis from ' Witness' the Harrison Ford movie?

  • in what colored outfit? I haven't seen the movie but... a cameo in the end credits would be pretty sad.

  • she's right in the middle. that's the clearest shot of her but at other mom ents you can see her dancing around like a whore. I may be wrong. It may not be her.

  • Amish people rule...anyone who trespasses against the Amish will be punished with the most severity.

  • Awesome song, even better movie!! Kingpin is one of the best movies ever made!!!

  • this is my favorite blues traveler song, my second is run around, they are awesome as was this movie

  • this is my favorite part of the movie ^____^

  • got love the amish kid with the suspenders

  • Yup, same here, my first intro to BT was through this film - one of the funniest movies out there.

  • the blues travelers look a little bit like the band diecast

  • But when the bass solo kicked in I was immediately hooked! Started looking frantically thru the credits to find the name of the song, logged on to youtube, typed "but anyway kingpin" BINGO! There it was, exactly what I wanted to see heheheh

GOTTA LOVE YOUTUBE AND THE BLUES TRAVELERS! FUCKING GREAT SONG!

  • but i even though. i still like this song.

  • Dude, this tune rocks so much!

I too was introduced to the Blues Travelers thru the fabulous closing credits of Kingpin... I remember having watched the whole movie while on the pc, so I was kinda watching, kinda chatting and kinda eating so wasnt truly paying much attention to it, especially after the credits started rolling by...

  • THANKS for posting. I caught these closing credits last night on TV. The bass player smokes. The harp is amazing. The drumming is beautifully low key and the guitarist is tight as it gets. Sort of Country-Blues-Funk. I'm off to go and by the CD right now! (A bit like The Band-meets-Little Feat, but with something else in the mix) Great.

  • i watched this yesterday, i think this was one of the best bits lol

  • AWESOME !! thanks for the video i probably watched it about 30 times already lol+

  • this film was my first exposure to BT too - theyre not exactly in the record stores in australia under the 'everybodys heard this' section! john popper is truly one of the most remarkable voices we have on this planet, the mans a treasure :D

  • great track, very ub40

  • Check out any stuff you can find by The Hoax as well, they were equally brilliant.

  • Thanks. I'll go find it on CD too.

  • Guy on bass breaks it down big time! All former Juilliard classmates from what I understand. You can tell, good stuff! Didn't know they were amish, LOL! That was a nice touch.

  • My favorite Blues Traveler! John Popper is a GOD on the harp!

  • kool

  • "bye brother munson, bye whore!" lol

  • It's one of my favorite closing credits for a movie. Another is The Frighteners with Don't Fear The Reaper redone by The Mutten Birds.

  • I've heard Blues Traveler first in this film few years ago and was amazed!!! It was hard to find the artist, because I did not even know the name of the film, bit music god was on my side :)

  • hahahahaha.... me also....

  • Awesome, thanks for posting this. One of my favorite movies and a favorite Blues Traveler moment. Also loved the camio of Popper as the announcer at the Bowling Tournament in Reno.
