  • you really do know this stuff! interesting interview from many perspectives~

  • @scrosnoe Thank you!

  • It is fascinating that Obama still refuses to do anything for her. At the time, he needed her endorsement a whole lot more than she needed his.

  • Obama owes her big time.

  • Yeah, Ambassador Kennedy. Anybody know how many of the Adams who were sent to London?

  • This is a marvelous idea, Ambassador to the Court of St. James. I think that President Obama is arogant in not giving her a prominent position. Her endorsement MADE his nomination run. He OWES her. This lack of respect from him is disgusting. Caroline has been a class act.

  • Obama ought to do something for her. She supported him at a critical time.

  • It's too bad she was advised to try for the Senate seat. Wead is right here that she would probably have been immediately confirmed as Ambassador to the Court of St. James. And would have done well. The gilding is slightly off her image now. But she can recover.

  • I liked the comment about comparing the Palin treatment to the Kennedy treatment by the media.

  • I was glad to be able to catch this clip on YouTube. I knew for sure that the press would want Doug Wead's historical input.

  • We have had worse candidates and far better candidates. Being rasied in a famous political family should not really be a reference. I thought we found this country on getting rid of royalty and nobility.

  • BS, she got worse treatment from the media that Palin. Caroline didnt have a biased side that absolutly BSed excuses and lied to the public about the facts.

  • I love the way the host expresses what we all feel about the incredible wealth of facts Doug keeps stored in his head.

    Who needs computers?

  • Yes, I always like what Wead has to say.

  • @yoncalalily-Just about everybody is a lawyer or studying to become one and almost everyone has now written a book or published a blog. They're not all qualified for the job though. It's OK that she is being vetted. Doug Wead has a good objective point of view and puts things in historical perspective.

  • She is a lawyer, and has written books on constitutional law. It's not like she's simply running on a name.
