It's good, but Michael Bolton's version made this song perfect. Lucas's version made the background music a bit more electro and too modern for the song. ALL HAIL MICHAEL BOLTON.

And @Traibabi Disney has changed today, we respect the Disney Classics and the end credits of the movie Phineas and Ferb showed the original Disney logo. That show gives respect to the classics, people at the Disney Company worked really hard for making a great movie from myths, legends, fairy tales, etc.

i don't like the way they try to modernize it it, the beat is inappropriate to the lyrics and originally intended style of the piece. the music doesn't fit very well. i have to say, i do love lucas' voice the best out of all the high school musical cast.

@Traybabi You must not have had a "true disney" past then. The Lion King, Hercules, Beauty & The Beast, Bambii, etc... are REAL disney movies. So much more work went into them! The characters were done by hand by cartoonists... they were not computer generated. The backround images were also HAND PAINTED. Do you see any of that now?? NO! The soundtracks to the movies were all original. They didn't use songs from other artists... they MADE their OWN!! I don't see ANY of this anymore.

@emokia92 I think it's quite emotional, I have the original downloaded on my Mp3. They both have about the same amount of emotion in them. Of course the original may sound different cause the singer has a higher pitch voice. And I don't really think it sounds like a dance track, it'd be really hard to dance to >.< Of course the originals always sound better in a way though, considering they were there first and in our cherished memories.

his voice is very strong and soothing. its perfect for this song. and the reason its so good is because they didnt change the way the song flows. the changed the beat and made the music have a more pop flavor, but if you listen to the original, the actual flow of the lyrics is about the same. this was the best disney remix i have heard so far though. keep it up lucas!
