Telur dipukul sehingga kembang dan gebu.
Masukkan santan, gula dan tepung, pastikan adunan tidak terlalu pekat dan juga tidak terlalu cair.
Panaskan minyak di atas api yang sederhana dan curahkan adunan ke dalam acuan kuih kapit.
Kapit adunan tadi dan goreng di dalam minyak panas dengan suhu 100 darjah Celsius.
Keluarkan adunan tadi lalu digulung atau dilipat.
