it comes from god, i see god as an ocean, and were floaties with tubes that hang in the ocean and in the tube are filters, and we suck up ideas from the ocean, but some of us have less filters than others, and ideas get twisted and diluted on the way into our minds...surely were not able to create ideas on our own, afterall its not the smartest or most controlled people that only get ideas..a very average or stupid man can get a great idea that others dont

the skull which have the brain there is no light in it, just the electricity between each neurones, though the day light produce different subconscious awareness then the night. The subconscious mind is nothing but repeated informations with attached fears, doubts, feelings, etc etc.. Your subconscious MAY still be in worry about some incident in childhood, it may somewhere make feeling of worry, etc -

your consciousness is like tip of iceburg where your subconscious mind is having rest part - the frontal lobe in the brain can produce consciously ideas, logic and reasoning, its the arthmetic and logic unit like - but as to be the conscious decision maker you have to still depend on the rest of the iceburg

The Frontal lobe as far as im concerned does a lot of problem solving and creativity. I think we take in information all over and as we have a personality so we all interpret it differently so it comes out in words and images differently.

I think one scientist said it is random. I actually don't know but according to them we do not have any free will either.

Let's reverse it, and ask why, if the consciousness is purely mechanistic--if all of who you are is just a a complex biochemical computer--why, then, can't we cure mental problems purely through biochemical means? To shatter the mechanistic, model, then, we must give credence to the mind's ability to operate outside time-space (as C.G. Jung showed us), as dreams are capable of showing us the future, and are, truly, as objectively real as an apple (a thought) growing from a tree (us).

Your Ego cannot take in everything at once, but your subconscious never shuts off; it's always processing--everything. Dreams are subconscious-processed information trying to come into conscious awareness; to expand your conscious awareness. The Ego is a cork, the subconscious is an ocean. Your Self is much bigger than the Ego, and is not limited by space and time. I highly recommend the "Matter of the Heart," the C.G. Jung documentary posted in full on YT.
