  • I went to elementary school with Jason Berrent.

  • THATS COOL

  • Sweet!!

  • yah it was AMAZING!!!! i want to see it again when i am not feeling sick and i can actually watch everything

  • at first, Jason looked like he was a really good jumper... then i saw the trampolines. That's a good illusion really.

  • He is still a pretty good jumper.

  • la verdad esta buenisimooooooo

pero eso si esmerece un poco mas en los escenarios

  • I posted this before but it seems to have been lost in the shuffle. There are several "accidents" or "slip-ups" that you will see in every show, these are intentional and meant to create the "gasp" effect. The falling from the wire and the tripping on the wheel are two such incidents.

  • Seriously?

  • Yes, you will see a few of the same "mistakes" in every single show. Also the "dissapearing girl" is part of the show, she is the assistant to the juggler if I remember correctly.

  • why are you spoiling it for everybody??..

the whole point they added them in is for extra effect..

  • Don't cry about it, it is still a great show and I personally think it adds something when you know.

  • i just saw this show...it was spectacular!!!!!!

does anyone know the name of the first song in the vid

  • L'innocent. It's my favorite.

  • same!

  • HES SO CUTE! lol

  • I have to agree, I identify with him a lot. Delighted to watch the goings on, but not able to fully participate. He's like an extension of the audience.

I also like that he unleashes the skeleton dancers, and this sort of dark force, into Kooza. It's frightening, but, like him, mostly harmless. :)

  • Actually I have tickets to go tonight, I think I'll love it :)

  • i don't know, that's what i've been wondering, since it seems that a lot of people have been talking about the fall on the trapeze, and I think there was something on "A Thrilling Ride Through Kooza" about that the trapeze artists want the audience to feel the danger....I don't know.

    I went on December 28th, at 4:00

  • i saw that show too. looked like it really hurt, but truly amazing show.

  • saw it in montreal...some of the tight walkers and the wheel of death guys messe up and scared the hell out of ms.

    an amazing show

    thank you kooza

  • me2 its the best

  • Bitchin' music, too.

  • ohhh

    muy bonita cancion la de.....

    bueno esa

    jejejej

  • I'm glad I saw this twice while they were in Toronto

    Lucky me

  • i saw this yesterday at san francisco it is the best show I've seen yet! the wheel of death was my favourite.

  • I was there too great show, that guy nearly fell of while trying to jump rope.

  • yeah!!! me too i just went today at SF

it was awesome- wheel of death= best!

  • Yeah I was there last night too. I think that tight rope guy actually hurt his hand when he almost fell trying to get back up.

  • when I saw it, the tight rope guy fell (when he jumped over the other guy) and it looked like he really hurt his calf, he was clutching it, and his wig flew into the audiene

  • Yeah, I saw that one too. It freaked me out a little.

  • the same thing happened to the guy when i saw it in SF. cept for his hat fell off

  • well, that's what i meant by his wig, his hat.

I saw it in sf as well. What day did you go?

  • i went in november or december. i dun remember. u think they planned tha dudes hat falling off or sumthing?

  • woah!!

    wat day did you go???

  • i loved this show i would do anything to see this again best time of my life

  • Just curious...did anyone actually see the three mini-trampolines in the stage, or the balancing-on-the-pole act, or The Trickster on the swing with the solo trapeze girl at any time? I saw the show twice in Toronto, and none of that was in it the days I saw...just wondering! :)

  • i didn't see those either in Toronto

  • I saw just saw it in Hartford, CT (April 2008) and one of them were in he show either.

Best show I have seen in my life though.

  • My bad, I meant to say *none of them were in the show I saw either.

  • i love you Cirque du Soleil! *cries*

  • shame on who ever actully video taped this...you CANT capture the performence on video! they are to talented to get ripped off like that...for shame....

  • It's a press conference...

  • a Wa?

  • it was taped by the cirque du soleil camera crew, thats why it goes close and far from their faces and the performances.

  • i like cirque de soleil

  • I just saw Kooza last week. Wonderful show, the dog actually peed my way too!!!

  • Saw this show in Toronto on opening night, this video while good does not and no video could ever do Cirque justice...the only way to experience Cirque is to go, then go again...then go again. We've seen 5 shows now, within the next 10 days we will have been to see this show again.

    GO GO GO

  • it was amazing Everyone should go see it honestly

  • it was a great show! i jsut saw it tonight!

  • I went to this show last friday! (sept 7 07) and its just indescribable. AMAZING

  • I love the first song! I remember the floor vibrating, lovley act too!

  • does anyone know the name of this song that is in the beggining or the artist or anything??

  • the song is called Charivari

  • Saw it in Toronto last night - front row - absolutely compelling, amazing, entertaining.

  • I cannot believe the amazing acts of cirque du soleil I hope soon I will be able to see it in person

and I too would like to know if they have a soundtrack

  • Where Can I get the song from the beginning?

  • the cd is not out yet.

but the dvd will come out before october, i can't wait! :D

  • How can the dvd come out before october when it hasn't even been filmed yet?

  • well maybe in the first days of october, they didn't

  • sorry, clicked the post button by accident.

they said it's coming out before or in october. i don't know, they are filming it in toronto.

  • awesome.. when the intro music started.. i had goosebumps it was great.

  • same here...saw it yesterday in toronto. frmo the minute the show started i had goosebumps. the music and the set was absolutely beautiful and the performances amazing!

  • just saw it today..was absolutely incredible

  • saw it front row.. AMAMZING... men had awesome bodies too hahaha

  • Oh yes, it's in toronto now, i've worked for the show in Montreal, one word: incredible.

  • I went to the Dress rehersal in toronto last night, this show is amazing.

  • its not john gilky i know for a fact.

but i cant recall the plants name

  • john gilkey was the main clown in Quidam and in Varekai, i am about 99% sure that the "plant" in Dralion is not him.

  • Technically, John Gilkey was a character in Quidam and Varekai. His role in each show is known as the "Guide." Each show had other clowns perform. John did however perform as a clown in Dralion in 2001-2002. He's not on the dvd.

  • I just saw Kooza lastnite, La Nouba was also amazing in Flordia!!

  • saw it in montreal it was amazing much better live love the song! soo amazing

  • Much better live, awsum show though. Saw it in montreal

  • its much more Better LIVE !!:D

  • seems little like Saltimbanco

  • storyline-wise, it can be compared more to Quidam...what with being guided through a different world of imagination, The Trickster & Clowns acting like John and Boum-Boum, The Innocent acting as Zoe.

  • you are right with the trickster and the innocent, i haven't seen kooza yet but do the clowns act little like Boum-Boum? I think they acted like fools.

  • When i said "acting like" i meant it more of "in the role of" if that makes more sense. They are fools, playing off each other like the 3-Stooges. The "lead" clown is very funny and dynamic, much like John Gilkey [from Dralion, Quidam, Varekai, Solstram]

  • sorry, I confused the phrase.

I didn't knew John Gilkey acted in Dralion..was he the musician clown?

  • John was the "plant"...the audience member that was brought up on stage to help the short, frightened clown.

  • On the DVD or on the rest of the tour?

  • DVD...when I saw the tour he had already moved on to work with Varekai, so I have no idea who it was then.

  • Are you sure? I mean, it doesn't looks like him, not even close! o_o

  • Pretty sure. He is listed in the credits as well.

  • John Gilkey is not on the Dralion DVD. The clowns on the DVD are Soizick Hébert, Johnny Fillion, Joe de Paul and Eric Goulem (the audience transplant). John GIlkey did not join Dralion until 2001 which was after the dvd was flmed.

  • Great story, great score, and some great twists on classic circus acrobatics.

  • I saw this the show before the premier, and it was amazing, I highly highly recommend it!!

  • wow the new show is awesome and the music is fantastic.

  • that song sounds so cool i cant wait to go and see it all it looks as amazing as all the other shows ^_^

  • this song is so infectiously cool it trips me out.

  • that's what i was thinking when I heard the song for the first time, probebly a New Age group I was thinking off but oh well. Amazing show! Not missing it

  • The first song sounds too familiar...

  • Brilliant!

  • Jacob in Cirque
