@basslinedan Since there are no game-play videos up the only thing that can be judged so far is graphics and scale. The graphics are of course not better; the models in this game resemble toys and lack detail while the terrain is like-wise plain. Scale-wise yes, it does seem to be larger in scope but bigger does not mean better. A simple look at the combat in the Total War games contrasted with Companies of Heros makes the case quite clearly.

These layouts and mechanics are always risky, it could turn out like endwar which would be horrible, or a revamped version of world in conflict. The only thing world in conflict lacked was its feel, you cannot truly say you felt like you were in control of an army in world in conflict, you pick three anti aircraft or 4 tanks and thats all you can have -_- really? So im hoping this is like the massive version of WiC

Well WiC was focused on team based gameplay, so the units of (typically) 8 players and not just one player, would constitute an army. But yeah you're right a larger scale WiC would be good.
