Yeah, psychonauts wasn't his greatest, but take a gander at the lucas classics if you want some of the finest story telling ever achieved in gaming. I dunno, I liked that it didn't do the whole Metroid formula of "ice world, fire world, outdoor world" etc. There were definitely a lot of "scenes" in the game that stuck out and made it seem varied enough for my tastes. Plus, the ambience was incredible. Parts of it really creeped me out, without being over the top like many survival horror games. I'd rate this maybe just below RE4.
