I would have liked to have gone too...

Events such as this are so important for raising the profile of the transport systems within the local community (especially for youngers - might even help deter them from unsociable behaviour) and showing that there is more to transport than just a train arriving at a station when a person wishes to travel.

@citytransportinfo Well Simon, I think the next one is in 5 years time :)

It was a lovely event and it was extremely busy however few teenagers went. We need somwthing to target the teenagers such as getting them involved. The contract for the livery on 4075 is almost over so I will suggest to DB something such as grafitti on the train or something like that. Something that gets them inlovled and makes them proud.

Hi Alex, i been watching all your metro videos with interest.

May i ask the picture at 6:36, is that 4002 being taken totally apart, if so do you know why? I think its 4002 because the image at 7:00 shows the middle section of the metro and i recognise the yellow and black colour. Thanks. :)

The articulated joint seen on it's own was the old joint used on 4002. Due to a cause I do not know the Metrocar need a new joint so the old one was removed and there is now one which is just plain metro yellow.
