@Airking11 This device will need a better ram, graphics card, processor, trackpad/mouse and keyboard to play anything like GTA San Andreas or ... let's say, Just Cause 2 (UNLESS you're going to be using the OnLive gaming service, which is another story).

If I were you, I'd be saving up some money for a HP TouchSmart tm2-2150us or an AlienWare M11x laptop.

Even though this is a few years old, it really is impractical. Bulky, slow, cramped up with controls and ports. Too big abd too heavy to be mobile, too small to be worthwhile. The iPad is really the only one that makes sense in this type of market..

the only reason ux is discontinued is because sony has the ericsson phone called xperia. So its much better than this and it starts at $571.

actual computing. Atleast u can multitask (iphones on app at a time lod of garbage) on the go computing is becoming more wanted in the industry i bet wow is playable along with a number of games and emus.

so iphone has thousands of apps... that do nothing. havent seen anything that i would be using all the time plz show one to me since i got an itouch so u can do word processing something so simple yet itouch cant do it. all i touch has is a touchsceen and an ok web browser (keyboards sux too)

It is cute at first but your eyes will quickly grow tired of the small screen format!

I am young with good eyes and quickly reaqlized this unit is smallery than its own good for many applications.

How the heck are you going to edit and evulate photo/media worth a darn on this size screen, your not!

Also the keyboard layout of this sony micro leaves something things to be desired.

if youre on the move alot and like to travel light, its an option to consider

everything has its pros and cons, i have the Nokia E90, but in the need to now have photoshop and play back many media formats i decided on the sony gadget with 3years warrenty and having 40gb hdd, bluetooth mouse, wireless keyboard & compatiable with external speakers is a very big plus for me (the external battery opt looks like a wise buy too!)

A "Centrino Duo" processor eh? Amazing since all the UX's are Core Solo's.

For those that don't move around a lot and not always traveling, yeah it really has no purpose. Its useful for me since I work all over the damn place and is really portable. And it is DAMN cool when you got one in your hands! You can get a UX390N on Ebay new for around $1300-1500 with the SSD option now. Not too shabby if you really need one.

The reviewer is an idiot, ''small screen, I had to zoom in.'' well thats the whole point of it, either get a laptop or get your eyes tested.

It doesn't weigh that much, just over 1 pound isn't much saying 2 pound is only a small bag of sugar, your typical folder or hardback book would be heavier.

The screen resolution is fine, unimpressed, what do you expect? it's the size of a large paperback book, weighs not much more than a feather, I think it's overpriced, but for what you are getting, very much worth it in the end depending on what you want to use it for.

they need to remove the fingerprint garbage, more junk added by sony to bring up the price, the touch screen can scan fingerprints. The screen could have been a bit bigger without it

Well don't count on your mobile CS:S gaming on high quality, what they don't mention is those things come with integrated intel graphics, so you will probably need to run at medium-low details.

I can't believe they don't even mention the graphics capability and only the processor. The processor alone doesn't make a PC (or Micro-PC) powerful.

Sorry buddy. The video quality on this thing is not all that impressive. It's basically a PDA on steroids. I think it would be OK for coding and simple design apps but 3d would never work. You have to wait a few years for the technology to catch up to the idea I'm afraid.

I know you did this comment 2yrs ago but these UMPCs have been known to run games like CS, Halo, Unreal Tournament, etc. but you're right, small screen which sucks if it was just a little bit bigger, it'd make it amazing.
