Heard about the speech for a long time and finally had a chance to view it. I didn't see any of the so-called "hate" and "animosity" the media tried to label this as. I think the thing they all missed was that over and over, MJ talked about his state of mind "while" he was playing. He reiterated countless times how all of those events drove him to be the best. That's what makes a winner a winner. The speech was fine - those that say it was something else need to get a clue.

It was very entertaining and not boring. He has a great sense of humor and also spoke the truth so fuck being politically correct for once!! Tell it like it is Mike! I enjoyed it. People get too uptight over nothing- always trying to over analyze every damn thing. This is his moment so until you achieve what he's accomplished then you can get up there and make your humble, dry,fake, kiss ass speech!!

This speech was perfect. Not some watered down, politically correct rubbish that adheres to the media's expectation.
This came from the heart and was intended for those people in Michael Jordan's life that inspired and pushed him to become the man he is today.
I think the man that changed the game of basketball forever, inspired & entertained millions of people and taught us to never say never is allowed to give HIS hall of fame speech any way he wants. At the very least he deserves that.

Heard about the speech for a long time and finally had a chance to view it. I didn't see any of the so-called "hate" and "animosity" the media tried to label this as. I think the thing they all missed was that over and over, MJ talked about his state of mind "while" he was playing. He reiterated countless times how all of those events drove him to be the best. That's what makes a winner a winner. The speech was fine - those that say it was something else need to get a clue.

Ok somebody explain to me what did he say that was so bad? Y'all make it sound like he came and out "I'm the shit, everybody here can kiss my ass and bow down" and walked out. The Byron Russell thing really happened and Russell confirmed as such. Same with Pat Riley. Seriously I don't get it. He was just giving honest accounts of events that occured. We live in such a sensitive society that people can't handle honesty.

MJ defines True Greatness. The speech brought a tear to my eye(haha sounds gay but its true) because he shows how if u want something bad enough and believe in it enough and always strive to win in all ways of life, you can overcome all n achieve greatness. Watching Mj was like no other you just knew he was not goin to loose n would do everything he needed to, to make sure they won.
