  • Fantastic tune, great choice of sounds. I could listen for hours.

  • $1690 actualy, damn exchange rate added the extra 600, and tax, it goes on, we get shafted here on stuff from America.but i cant get one local.

  • You should try a national chain called long and mcquade for your musical purchases, I paid under 800 for a lightly used 808. (My friend rented it before I bought it, I was so impressed with the unit I bought it.

  • wow very nice, closest one to me is 55 minutes away, but I will look into itwhen im ready to get my nord wave, thanks

  • Hey, lovely track, one quick question,

what one, in your opinion is better? the 808 or 505? i just dropped 2000 bucks on an 808 and it will be here any day, so im just wondering if i invested my money wisely... lol..

  • hey... wait..?

you paid 2000 for an mc-808?????

  • If you have a computer or laptop to run the 808 with you will be in heaven.

  • very nice!love those synths on the virus.deep stuff man!keep it up :]

  • Lovely smooth track, good job :)

  • nice track. very natural :)

  • Love your track, which which is better MC505 or MC808??, thinking of getting one, appreciate your comment,

    Greetings from Poland

    Vanderson

  • wow I am inspired to channel more ambient healing music. I have a few that I will record now I have a camera.

nice studio! my setup is the 505, 307, ESX, DX27, Darkstar and a matrix 1000.

    Thank you for posting this.

  • Piekny i ciekawy utwor. 5 gwiazdek :-).

  • Fajna muzyka, milo posluchac. Well done, keep it up. :)

  • oh, and very nice job on this track man, one of the few rare good ones, always a pleasure to listen to it. keep up the good work! :)

  • I've heard and read opinions that the MC-808 is a bit thin on the basses, even sampled ones. Do you agree? And what about MC-909? Does that have the same issue?

  • Wow I am like blown away! I used to have a MC-505 (and 3 Korg Ms-2000r and rb's) I had to let them go for money issues. A major loss. To have to seell my "artwork" Your music is incredibly impressive. So ambient, earthy, and New Age yet so mellow! This almost has to be the best Ive ever heard from an MC 505. Great job!

  • The intro sounds like i've entered heaven. Great variation of sounds.

  • wow extremely nice live keyboard! very accurate... even to my trained ears! nice!

  • sweet ambient lounge...god job!

  • Really nice :)

  • good music. thank you

  • Hey, Vanderson!

    dzięki za komentarz !!!

  • Good stuff

  • sounds very relaxed

  • That sitar line at 4:50 is sampled or sequenced?

  • it is Virus Rack sound sequenced from MC-505

  • BEAUTIFUL !!!

  • great !!! good music material !!!

  • Oriental Cave Tune! Great Job!!!

  • Beautiful

  • Bravo... very beautifull...very spacy dont stop...compose more !I would buy your cd right away!

  • Absolutely beautiful...and a great tutorial for live performance with hardware.

I downloaded Moogie Boogie today, can't stop looping it in Winamp. Fantastic!!

  • All your music is very spacy and emotional.Really really nice.

  • goota

  • Beautiful song... POLAND ROCS :D

  • Great composition easy to listen to.

  • Beautifull, you should compose more like this and put it on an album and release the album...I would buy it!

  • Absolutely amazed ... awed ... baffled ...

So what did you use the 808 for ?

BTW, what is that first patch you use on the Virus (I have a TI and would like to use it).

  • wow!

  • thanks for comment, i wait for yours MC-505 videos :)

    greetz

  • Absolute genious! I just got a 505 yesterday. I am very excited.

  • This is really nice...

  • Very...Very nice track Nice programing and arrangement..Ooooh yeah

  • This aquatic beginning reminded me Vangelis, you are couragous to play on this no-keyboard machine, but seems you know how to swing your machines somehow, I know you played this first asiatic (Koto style?) melody but would so much see you play it, the monophonic style solo after is very nice (sound like notes) how could you achieve that sound with a Solton? sounds very moogy!, is it a mix of world into electro hypnotic stuff with a chill motion feel, this one should really be played live

  • this track brings a tear to my eye... DAMN this is rockin!

  • great tune - ive thought about getting a groovebox but always thought they were aimed at pure dnb and dance - i love your style and its made me think about using a groovebox for my projects - is the 808 fairly easy to use if you have good tech synth skills - by the way where are u ?

  • absolutely marvelous :)

  • .. and to make a more useful comment - very nice track you have there, I'm going to check out more of your stuff. What do you use as a controller keyboard below the 505? It looks like a Roland E-series keyboard?

  • Virus Rack sounds beautiful

  • Hey man, just wanted to say that this tune inspired me to get my gear set up again after a break from production - thanks! I've uploaded my first tracks to youTube now, if you get a minute search for siedgey and see if you like! Excellent track you have here man.

  • beautiful, i like this.

  • I am looking to buy an Mc-303 groovebox. I have never used anything like this before, is this a good piece of equipment to start upon? I know they are are £100, $150 ish, is that the right price on E-bay?

Although, as it is electric, it'd be far easier to buy it new and with a warranty, but where can i buy one new, or one similar new, at the £100 - £150 price range? HELP PLEASE!!! Thanks.

  • If I were you, I wouldn't buy the MC303 - the 505 has a display with readable text instead of unintelligible numbers. The MC303s go away for so little because they can do only a little. Rather get a MC307 - it's got the 505's sound and is easier to work with. Or better yet, start learning the ropes with software synthesizers and sequencers; then decide if you want to go further. Ask around on forums like vintagesynth (dot) org - they'll help you there for sure :).

  • superb! love the ambient mood! very talented and inspirational. Ive bought a Juno G a few months ago and getting to grips with that - and just found a mc505 on ebay real cheap! Ill have a play and see if its really useful and then look at an mc808 later! Thanks and keep the vids coming - any chance of some MC505 video tutotials! :-)

  • GroveProject, I must mention the talent here, many can luck up on a CQQL tune, this isn't even close to luck, it is shear talent. Nice work I will seek other work you have created. Thanks dude, nicely mixed, I'm throwing it to my outside speakers now, sounds really good, I live on a river and the eco through the woods really adds that lost in the jumgle touch, I suggest it is retitled "Rain Forest Blue".

  • hahaha... nice tittle "Rain Forest Blue" i think about :) Greetz

  • it`s beautiful man... works really well yeah!

  • that sounds so much like what a group like Enigma would do ...so pretty, keep up the amazing work man, you are amazing!

  • I got a 505 too... Its Hot!

  • Can I ask what you used to fix your MC-505 to the wall? I have just had a second hand 505 and need to do the same thing but I can't find a suitable bracket....hope you can help.

Great tunes btw, listened to them all now...keep em coming.

  • cracking little track...very chillout

  • excellent tune - sound quality is fantastic. would love a set up like yours :)

is the tone that the track starts with (the one with all the reverb on) made solely on the 505?

  • thanks for the comments, the start tone played from the Virus programmed on the MC-505 sequencer (Virus have a wonderful reverb effect - i love it :))

Only drums/perc and bass sounds played from the MC-505 original patches

  • Are the keys on the 505 velocity sensitive?

  • Are the keys on the mc-505 velocity sensitive?

  • Excellent! Really fine stuff.

  • very nice.i love the monotome sub feeling you got. whole track works for me....Peace LcD.

  • hey man, could you tell me what the synth is that you play the lead on?

  • hi, the lead sound are from Virus

  • it feels like Im back in the early 80's again. Sooo Goood.

  • nice. i make beats w/ a 505 also. love the sounds

  • Thanks for the comments :)
