This level is the perfect example of TRA's most important downside:

Part of the charm of the original level was the way the areas intertwined with each other and the wild aspect that the multiple rock surfaces around the level gave it.

In this case, the level has been turned into some sort of museum showcasing bigger versions of the puzzles.

The puzzles are perfect and improved, but the overall feeling of the whole level is inferior to the original that had much richer layout IMO.

lol a clip of "louischou"'s walkthrough at 2:43, tomb raider 1 is way better though... even though it isnt as realistic the animations i prefer. tomb raider anniversary gives lara too many dodgey anoying animations. and the worst thing about the new tomb raiders is the slide down the slope which im not a fan of...

The sliding down the slope thing in TR3 I really like, but in TRA it seems like she randomly slows down sometimes which makes it harder to time your jump, even if it's supposed to help you I agree it's annoying. And yes all TR1 clips are from louischou's walkthrough because I don't have TR1 myself. But I hope he doesn't mind regarding the fact that I always credit and use it in a `fair use `context (not used in a walkthrough, credited, his video is not THE central thing and low quality).
