Civilised Humans existed on the planet 10,000 years before Islam, there were many great thinkers, innovators, inventors and artists. This claim about the science in the quran is about 30 years old. Let us assume that 20 new verses per year are put forward as containing science. That means over 90% of such verses have already been used up, and in less than 5 years time, there will be no more source material.
This is ridiculous. Lets say that the quran DOES contain MODERN science in it. But what about 100 years from now? Or even 50 years from now? Science will have evolved, but the "science in the quran" will not.

If you born in Saudi you would probably follow Sunni Islam, whereas if you were born in Iran you would probably follow Shia Islam.

It's easy to read stuff into sentences. Nostradamus wrote quantrains that appear to show the future, but in fact it's just the way you interpret it. People even do it with Beatles and Bob Dylan songs. If you want something to be there, you'll find it somehow. Try predicting the future using the Quran and maybe I'll believe you if its not too vague. But it always is.

See how we were the one's who invented algebra. How we discovered alcohol and gave it it's name. How chemistry (initially Alchemy) was derived from the Arabic word Al-Kemya. We built the first flying airplane, not the Wright brothers (Abbas Bin Firnas) although he couldn't land it properly

@mhmmdashour The genius of ancient Arabs, Greeks, Hindus, Romans, Egyptians, etc had to do with culture not religion. The ancient Arabs, like the Europeans of the Renaissance revived Greek knowledge dating from long before Christ! Pythagoras, Hippocrates, Aristotle, Euclid, Archimedes, Galen, Copernicus. Greeks didn't even have religion, just various superstitions. Muslims didn't find medical knowledge in the Quran, they were an advanced people because of secular persuits.

A) Thanks to the brits and french, we are separated into 42 countries.
B) Each country has a western backed President/King/Ruler who cares about nothing but money.

Civilised Humans existed on the planet 10,000 years before Islam, there were many great thinkers, innovators, inventors and artists. Have your read about the Greeks, Romans, Celts all these people knew about everything mentioned in the video and more because they were just events of their daily life. Why not should these information have been passed on to Muhammad who was a skilled trader and traveller ?

the problem with islam is same as the problem of modern physicists. they think they can prove everything and every aspect of life or universe with just one single answer - the muslims turn to quran while the physicists turn to find a one single equation explaining the whole of the universe. on the contrary, science can be applied to everything but religion cannot.. people need to realise this. an example of how ignorant allah is can be found in a verse in quran where allah calls comets demons.

The Quran draws attention to the phenomena found in the universe that only God Almighty is capable of creating and which man is simply unable to dreplicate ; living things are found in every form of existence and for several millenniums yet man is never able to create a single living cell out of none living matter. All of the inventions that you have mentioned are man-made and far less significant to what was mentioned in the Quran. The Quran is a book of signs, not a record of human inventions

Do you muslims see what this means? Looking back in 10 years time, over Muslim history from 700AD - 2010AD, people will see that the quran allegedly spoke to modern science from 1970 - 2002 and then fell silent on the subject, that revelation ran out. What does this tell us? That the "modern science in the quran" argument is a modern polemic, limited to a small time frame, that will soon burn itself out as the source material dries up.

The quran contains some 6.400 verses. Lets say that 10% of it can be cleverly interpreted as "science", so we have 640 verses containing scientific facts. This claim about the science in the quran is about 30 years old. Let us assume that 20 new verses per year are put forward as containing science. That means over 90% of such verses have already been used up, and in less than 5 years time, there will be no more source material.

The Old Testament claimed dibs on the "fertilization" when it says in deuteroatomy that the "Life is in the Blood!" This statement is an even more specific description of the embryonic state because the first thing the sperm looks for before it dies is blood as nourishment. So literally the Life begins when it gets plugged in with blood. And this is as an analogy of the blood of Christ when we get plugged into him.
