see man, its the hardware that doesnt enable you to record in pal 60. try the pinnacle software that came with it or search up amcap. if they both dont work its your hardware and youd need to get a 170 for pal 60.
i didnt use the splitter cable method actually. i put the rgb into the tv and a fibre optic cable into the sound system and the red white and yellow into the dazzle
I have no idea but, is there anything else you need to record? And can it record HDMI?

yeah man should work. it cost about... hmmm cant really remember but i THINK it was around the 200 mark. not sure. may have even been 3.

I have a hdtv, when I dont use the HDTV cabels on the back of my xbox and use the yellow,white and red. does the picture still come out in HD?

Well, yes and no. The picture will be better than if you had the red white and yellow in a normal tv. BUT it certainly wont be hd.
