  • Wow! Great pictures. Lots of detail. Interesting range of shoots. Like your depth of field on particular shots. I have taken mostly landscapes so far. No portraits as of yet or micro shots. Have much to learn. You inspire me. Keep up your creative good work!

  • i like the cats eye!

  • Espetacular, parabéns!!!

  • i have mine for over a year now, made very much pictures but what you've done;.. IS AWESOME! i have to say you are talented, keep it up!

did you edit the pictures? Regards

  • i have this camera and i cant even take one good picture , lol

  • I fall in love with my camera again ...all credit goes to you my friend! thanks!

  • LOL at 2:34 the expression on that woman's face is priceless!

I love your photos - I spent several weeks in August last year deciding which superzoom to go for and I still haven't got one yet, but the FZ28 is very appealing (and cheaper than the 38).

  • nice! very nice indeed. i got the same camera. i should start taking more pics like this with it. this is awesome. i'm still trying to figure out how to manipulate the manual focus on the camera. any pointers?

  • i would not bother, unless you want to be there for years, once you learn how to use the auto focus to your advantage, then thats good enough.

  • 1:27 Beautiful...

  • Simply superb pics mate. Your video has convinced me to buy the lumix zr38 new model. Can I ask what software did you use to make the slideshow? Keep em coming!

  • that would be imovie

its only on macs....but it comes with every mac

  • Wow! Congrats on the pics, most of them are really beautiful. I have a FZ28 as well, wish I could make such a good use of it as you do. Do you use any additional gear apart from the camera, or is it just like out of the box?

  • Wow... just wow... I didn't know my camera could do all of that...

So... did you use a tripod for all those pictures? Also... did you retouched them in Photoshop?

    Great, no... excellent work!

  • Thank you! All of them were shot without my tripod, just using a steady hand and the viewfinder rather than the screen. I find it much easier to keep it steady that way. There has been some minor light changes made to make the blacks deeper. Also on the one with the signpost and trees, i highlighted the shadows a little. All done with iPhoto, nothing professional. Thanks for your comment :)

  • 10x

I got some good results :) have u ever try this cam for portrait shooting? as i guess it would be impossible to get blured background in portrait shooting

  • no, it all depends on depth of filed, how far you are from the subject, how much you zoom in, and how far away the background is from the subject.

  • 10x again

can u give me some keywords to search in google about this things?

    sorry for disturb. my apologies

  • hey :)

    nice photos :))

btw i have same cam, but cannot achive blured background :S can u give me some quick tips?

  • Zoom in on your subject, slightly, the more you zoom in the more the background will blur. It also depends on how far the background is from your subject. Also make sure to half press the shutter button before shooting to focus on your subject, than press all the way. This will also make it easier to take the photo at the right moment. Let me know if this was of any use :) and thanks for watching :)

  • Blyk loll

  • those were the good old days!

  • Really beautiful photos Tom, I especially thought that the Cats Eyes one was cleaver, fantastic video mate.

  • thank you very much! That photo was hard to get, it was at 5:30 this morning but it is still the main road through my village, so i would be kneeling down in the middle of the road and then all of a sudden i would hear a car coming from behind. I managed to find a gap in the very little traffic for a moment to get that shot :)

  • those are some very nice pictures, and a very nice camera
