After using it in my bedroom for the last 10 years, I just sold my ERC receiver at a yard sale for $3. It was a faithful stereo, but I had the chance to replace it with a Kenwood KR-4070. 40 watts/ch as opposed to 5 watts/ch. MUCH better sound!
i have the same receiver a ,i will admit it has a cool look but bad sound. i mostly use hi powered receivers. but this one only puts out about 3 or 4 watts per channel

vintage equipment?? in my opinion those
old stereo tuners play and last longer
then the modern crapp that's out there

i had one of those realistic speaker, but i accidently blew them out with my technics stereo. thatz a nice reciever you got.
