  • so does this thing generate its own clock or needs a clock input?

  • @rhoggard76 My version of it requires an outside clock. There isn't a clock circuit on the standard version; but as these are all DIY one could easily build a clock into it, and indeed many people have done that.

  • @sduck409 thank you kindly and for such a quick return, these do send out to more than 1 device i take it? i built casperelectronics dronelab v2 that has in/out/thru for cv/clock

  • @rhoggard76 Yes, there are 3 different but inter-related cv outs, and 3 gate outs. These aren't independant, but they are related, which makes working with this device "interesting" (unpredictable).

  • what else can it do?

  • @nepalnt21 Nothing. That's it. Kidding - see the many other related videos of this amazing sequencer, or do a google search for "klee sequencer" - there's a lot out there!

  • @sduck409 thats what i started doing after this video... and i must say my impression of it has grown much since watching yours.

thats not to say yours was unimpressive, but lets just say it took a little more convincing. now im ready to pull the trigger and buy a kit!

  • i really want a Klee but very intimidated by the build.

  • this is the first time I've really seen the benefit of having the "Load button" in there - makes a lot more musical sense that you can load in patterns at musically relevant times.

Another thing that struck me is that you don't really use the knobs - and I think that's typical for the Klee - the analogue values aren't as important, it's the bit setup that addresses those values that matter the most.

  • This is what they might use for creating birthday's musical cards !

  • @popitem Unlikely as musical greetings cards are purely digital devices

  • Coolness!

  • Wow, Great klee. I like the look of the metal hardware against black background with wood trim.

There is a high-pitch noise sound that is annoying, but surprisingly, I like the sound of you switching. It is a nice percussive sound.

  • Although that electronic tone is annoying, the musicianship of the operator kept me listening. Well played Mr. Duck!
