  • I love that you did this! Where were you guys visiting from?! And, lol, no matter where you go in VT, if you ask anyone "is there anything to do?", you'll get the same response from everyone - "Nope. This is Vermont. There's nothing". Burlington is the only "fun" place. Although, the scenery everywhere is absolutely beautiful. Only thing going for our state.

I've lived in Vermont for almost 22 years - born/raised (unfortunately) and have seen this area so many times. Its really cool to actual

  • Just watched the film last evening and looked up where it was filmed and found your video. What a brilliant effort, thanks so much enjoyed your "direction".

  • Wow, really interesting. I was getting sweaty watching it because it has an eerie early Blair Witch vibe!

House wise they did the same thing in my hometown outside Melbourne for the Nic Cage film Knowing... They just built this big fake exterior manor on a vacant lot... Looked beautiful, wished they'd left it there.

Anyway thanks for this! Über intriguing. ÜBER.

  • hahahahahaha my back yard n favorite movie!

  • im a Beetlejuice maniac and I would like to visit East Corinth a classic 88 film

  • This is one car trip I would've liked to have been on! LOL! Fun video! I love this movie!

  • Very cool video! Thanks for sharing!!!

  • A friend of mine owns the store and the ford truck sitting beside it in your video lol, it's being jacked up and restored as a residence. I heard one of you make the comment that the town has gone down hill since '88... haha, movie magic is all that is, the town has not changed hardly at all. The barber shop sign is funny too, all that's behind that door is a set of stairs to the second story porch. I was only 8 yrs old, but I remember all the activity and temporary construction.

  • I can't believe you guys didn't get out of your car and film the front of the store and walk inside of it as well....this could've been much better.

  • is this in california

  • Really liked this video. I live right in that village, So it's pretty cool. I just wanna make a comment that People in our town wouldn't care less about the Tourism. We have a population of like, 400. It would be kinda cool to remake that bridge though. Great Video!

  • So cool you guys sounded like you were having fun taking a walk down memory lane it's a shame about the house though.

  • i lived there till i turn 7 and have been coming back to visit my grandfather since last year when he moved it was a werid town i like all the rednecks but werid stuff happened

  • You guys saved me a vacation. Thanks a bunch!

  • good vid shame its goin down hill that town could be a major tourist attraction good video thanx 1 ov the best film ov all time build house and same bridge as it was intrestin

  • they should build the house back not just a "facade" but a real house that closely resembles what the house was like in the movie.

  • I was just up in Vermont and had a chance to see East Corinth. Too bad about "Maitland Hardware". The bridge had a covering added for the movie. Those cow skulls are STILL THERE, very creepy. I even went up the road and pasture that the house exteriors were filmed at. Thanks for posting!

  • Awesome job - was comming home from Laconia NH and was going to drive there but was toooo rainy - next yr - thanks again

  • I'm this movies #1 fan! I plan to make the journey to this town to visit where the outdoor shots were filmed. Thanks for putting this together! Can't wait to see it with my own eyes.

  • They should rebuild the covered bridge for tourists, money and town appearance.

  • wish it was filmed in fall

  • sweet
