Lotso got it way too easy. That bear deserved nothing short of being torn apart thread by thread until each individual piece was so tiny it was invisible to the naked eye.
@WiiDSguy Then again, it's gotta suck having your fluff and stitching erode away thanks to the dust and debris around junkyards. I'd say give him 10 years and he'll be suffering quite enough, slowly. The others were used to it because they were probably in that shape beforehand...Or were they? Also leaves the possibility of him becoming a limp talking (Or losing talking too) husk, unable to move on his own, forced to stay alive in this condition. I'd say a punishment well earned.
Buzz's face when he grabs Jessies hand turns me into an emotional wreck every time I see it. Must be the first time in the series Buzz and Woody are both totally out of ideas and accept their fate
We've never been so close to death in a disney movie.. and yet it was not traumatizing at all. It was just one of the best feeling I could ever feel in a movie theater
@lylorebo never been so close to death? uhh r u forgetting lion king? when mufasa u know died? or how about when bambi's mom was shot dead? or not so long ago when nemo's brothers & sisters & his mom was eaten by a barracuda?
It's Toy Story, not Terminator the toys would NOT be killed off like this..that's why i didnt cry..now when andy gave his toys to the girl..yea..that's another story..
I've never cried so much in a Disney movie as I have Toy Story 3. I had to muffle my sobs in the theater, and it was so awkward because I swear, I was the only one in a glass case of emotions.
is it me or if you litsen to the music at ;0:34 it sound very similiar to monsters inc music when sully was chasing randall thumbs up so everybody can see
Even though I knew Disney would never kill off their main characters, there was a split second in the theater when I was filled with dread and I thought they really were going to die and I started crying, thinking how wrong it was. But it's easily, I believe, the best Disney movie ever made.
This makes me cry. Woody was always Andy's all time favourite-but they really all came together here. Even through the worst times, their friendship ALWAYS kept them going. I think that's what got to me most.
i was crying like a baby when they grab their hands and then i scream like and idiot DHA CLAAAAW :D and then i say that lotso its the worst teddie bear ever >o<
As great as Toy Story 3 was leading up to this scene, this was the scene that MADE the movie. This was the scene that truly made me feel this film was as much a classic as the first two films, and it's not only the climax of this film, but the climax of the trilogy as a whole. I didn't think it was possible that I could care for the characters more than I already did, but WOW was I wrong. Oh, and the aliens saving them was absolutely genious.
in the last hour I've watched the Death of Musafa, Bambi's mother, the scene in dumbo where she meets her mum, her scene in monsters inc where Scully scares boo and this. As you can imagine, I am quite literally an emotional wreck.
@boboingthebaggies Dang dude! There's no way I could watch all those scenes in one day! Absolutely no way, lol! Mufasa dying is more than enough to make me a wreck.
haha I was watching this in the cinemas crying my eyes out and thinking damn that was sad. But what I didn't know was that the ending was going to be even worse lol
Somehow it's Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head that really get me blubbing at this scene. It's only a little thing, just the way he kisses her hand at 2:22 but it's so effective. Dammit, comic relief characters should not have the ability to make you cry!
only pixar could completely have me convinced that the main characters in a movie were gonna die. I was seriously in my seat freaking out. Pixar is incredible, and so is this movie:))
This scene... it's completely tear-jerking and heart-wrenching. The toys... it's just so sad because we really didn't know what could be done at this point. Lotso, being the most ungrateful bastard ever, left and betrayed them. And... they just accept their fate. Together. They all finally take Woody's advice that they have to stay together. And they did.
@SplashyMusic007 Also: THE FREAKING CLAW. Everyone forgot about the little green aliens. I love this especially because the scene where the first come to the dump shows the little green aliens see it and runs towards it. Foreshadowing done right!
Ok I have to admit when the aliens used the claw to save the toys. Even though I am 23 years old and a man. I was applauding and was so happy. (I only jumped up and down just a little bit lol)
Just thinking about this movie gives me huge goosebumps. This very moment in the movie was the most CLIMACTIC ever! Cause really, it was like our childhood was being destroyed. Ahhhh this moment was so epic. They really took it to a whole nother level with this one. I love this movie too much.
This scene always brings tears. But the thing is if you really look at it you knew they weren't gonna die. But in the end when they are saved it is so effing clever and original i even chuckled in the midst of my tears.
once you have started there is no turning back. a 10 year old girl was raped and murdered in her 1945. her body was not found until 1947. then a boy last week read this message and did not copy and paste this message. the dead girl appeared in his room haunting and killed him if you dont copy and paste this to 10 videos in 30 minutes the dead girl will appear in you room tonight and haunt and kill you well you better start to copy and paste 2 stay safe
When i saw this you could FEEL how sad people were feeling and then to see the whole "claw" part it was just a bounce back to a happy mood. Well done Pixar.
For anyone who's seen The Hudsucker Proxy, this reminds me of when the janitor wedged the broom into the gears of the clock and said "You got a better idea" to the camera.
Heh this was a great movie but was a terrible idea for a second date. The scene where they held hands... I held the popcorn at head level to hide and when she asked what I was doing, I pretended to read a blank popcorn container.
@HiddenFacedMatt Not really lying... she saw I was "reading" the popcorn and just resumed watching the film. But if you want to talk about deception, she cheated on me with my (former) friend and I broke up with her a few months later in September that year.
It's even more sad because Woody was about to die without his lover Bo Peep
