  • sounds like its taking a shit plurp plurp

  • No, GX270! :)))

  • Honda GX200 ???

  • Hi, I wanted to know how to adapt the carburetor, because I have the Honda GX 160 and wish to change the carburetor, but can not get a link to this entry

  • What carburetor do you have on the engine? kart looks nice.

  • It's a Scooter carburetor, 28 mm diameter, adapted with a 1/2 Honda Silverwing inlet manifold.

  • just wondering i got a honda gx 200 clone for my bike and i put a new longer exhuast on it and now if i open the throttle to fast it cuts out ! any advice ?

  • If you mean a Chinese Honda GX engine clone, several times those engines don't work well as the original ones.

Anyway, in those engines ignition timing is so retarded and exhaust tube mustn't be too long to avoid counter pressure problems.

Try to anticipate ignition timing and try to use a short exhaust tube.

  • clones are shit!

  • yes your engine is breathing better, you need to drill out the jet, as your engine is now starving fro fuel. If you change the filters, or exhasut you will have to change the jet size.

If you havent changed the fly wheel, you should as they can explode at high RPM. Get an ARC item.

You should also advance your timing to 4 DBTC to get benifit out of the engine, id the govoner removed?

  • I'm still working on it, I have to build some missing parts or adapt some others. When I'll finish it and finally test it, I will post a video for sure!

  • can post a video of you driving it?
