  • i thought you were showing us how to make silk flowers ??? they are lovely ,

  • @pmonn1 Hi, yes it is crinoline, didn't you understand my accent? LOL!

You can also use buckrum..it is stiffer, it works better on projects that maybe you want to frame..or on stiffer fabrics.

  • What did you call the white stuff you tack the flowers on - crinolin? Such a clever idea.

  • Absolutely love your work. You are soooo talented.

  • Beautiful flowers!!! Couldn't find your shop on etsy .... I would love to purchase some flowers from you.

    Thanks Cynthia

  • BEAUTIFUL!!! This is EXACTLY what I want to be creating!!!

  • Your work is absolutely stunning, I've never seen anything so pretty. I'm just getting into ribbon embroidery, your video is so inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent :):). Donna

  • Your work is gorgeous! Ever since I saw Helen Gibb & the ribbonwork she does I've been in love with this art. Your work is breathtaking, really! I can't believe you dye your own ribbon - and in two tones no less! So time consumming! (I loved the part of the video where you 'warned' us that this was a Southern video per your accent. Very funny. I moved to western NC in 1998. I'll have to look at your Etsy shop, too. Thanks so much for sharing your art!

  • Hello darkgarden,

I am glad you liked your flowers. I am trying to get time to make some more videos. I can't get caught up with my orders!

Who are you on Etsy? I think I know...are these for baby clothes by chance? You can convo me or email me @ lambsandivydesigns@yahoo.com. I would love to know who says such nice things to me! LOL

  • Hi Dana,

just received the GORGEOUS flowers you made for me and I want MORE!

Are you planning to show how to make a rose sometime?

I would love to know how to roll the edges of the rose petals and what type of ribbon you use.

    Rayon seam binding maybe?

    Keep up the beautiful work!

  • Thank you Skasha99!

  • I love the french cuffs girl!

  • Would love to see how those are made.

  • Thank you very much Titi,I always think they look like cake decorations! Most of them I sell on my Etsy site so others can use them, but I also trim around the crinoline & put them on hatboxes and book covers and lamp shades. Some people sew snaps on them and put them on shirts and some use them in altered art and crazy quilts and pillows. I should have said that in my video!

  • Luv your silk flowers, they are totally awesome. Its like looking at ice cream so beautiful. LOL What do you plan on making with them? Thanks for sharing with us.

    Hugs, Titi

  • @ Bananashaveice Thank you so much for the sweet complement ! Come back again.

  • Wow...your flowers are breathtaking!! I love the soft colors of the ribbon..your table looked like a beautiful garden!
