this game is good, though i miss the old NFS Underground series, but to tell the truth, Undercover was a huge disappointment, Hot Pursuit is just normal and this one is better than nothing, LOL, i hope they make the next game better!!

Too bad this game wasn't so good :( Just got 5/10 by some game testers. Hot Pursuit got 9/10. What happen EA? Hot Pursuit is much better by the game testers. I don't like this game myself either... The turning is too short and you get tired fast because it is the same all the time. I just got to Chicago, then I had enough.

The next game in the set should be a non-stop race from washington to maine to florida to cal and back to washington. if could save at the checkpoints and you stop at shops and buy cars custom parts up grades and paint jobs. make multiplayer campaign and more. I have to buy a new CD though, the CD I had from 1997 kinda broke somehow..I wasn't even there at the time :( Although, I do have every NFS game from TNFS SE to The Run: Limited Edition on PC. I miss those days on the DOS x86 machine.

@BioHazard7911 lol, I didn't get NFS II SE untill probably 6 or 7 years ago at a rummage sale in Germany! I didn't know about the regular NFS II until after I got SE (It wasn't easy to find the normal version). Like I said earlier, the only real difference was the car selection, most of the cars were the same, but there were a few cars that were different in each and I like the ones in the original best. I'm not sure how I can get it running on my x64 Windows 7 (maybe xp mode)

@BioHazard7911 SE added a few cars, a track in Mexico, and I'm not sure if Romulus 3 was in the original version of NFS2. Good luck getting it to run on Win7 though, some people have better luck than others. God help you if you are on 64 bit. I got it running after hours of tweaking at a whopping 5fps on a machine that can max out Crysis.

SE also introduced the Wild car handling mode, which makes the game a lot more arcadey, and opponents spaz out and fly away when you ram them.
