Warcraft 3 one of the human themes. It sounds incredibly epic... although seeing what WoW is doing to the Warcraft universe I have completely lost hope for another RTS sequel...
Elves never became Uruks, even in Tolkien lore. That was all Saruman's rubbish in the movie, the Sindar never fell to the Shadow, only the dark Numenoreans.
That is actually wrong. Uruk is a derivation from sindarin (I believe it was) meaning simply "orc", as Uruk-hai became known as orc-folk. As for Sindar never falling to shadow, that is also not true - depending on what you mean "fall to shadow". Eöl could be described as a dark elf, although he did not serve Morgoth, he was not a kind-hearted man in any way. In fact he was described as a rather cruel man. His son Maeglin on the other hand *did* fall to shadow by allying himself with Morgoth
To hate Kael and the rest of the Blood Elfs is dumbish...they wanted to survive...Illidan granted an option for them. They accepted it. In my opinion they did it well...They was addicted to magic. If only the deamons can grant the sufficient amount...than so be it.
An i tell you something about the players of WoW....i do know a LOT of people around me who playes it...and they know nothing realy about the Lore of Azeroth...the rest who knows the Lore, should think about what happened for what.
And there is more differences in the using of magic by the Night Elfes, and the High Elfes...Night Elfes did used them magic to take care of them lands...the High Elfes were hungry for knowledge about the origins of the power of the Well. And more over...not the High Elfes destroyed the Sunwell but Arthas and his kinmans. The Night Elfes destroyed the Well of Eternity, to banish the Burning Legion.
Let's summerise...WoW players do hate the High Elfs becouse what Azshara and his followers did at the time sundering. We can say that the High Elfs did a lot of good thing in the time of the second war, like aiding againts the orks, and later againts the Legion(Portals on Draenor). The High Elfes were more carefully with magic then them precessedors, and again, the Blood Elfes did only that what they had to survive! To hate them for that, is quite unreasonable.
Watcha talking bout? Of course there are humans there but you forgot to add that the Night Elves (alliance) where the very first inhabitants of Kalimdor, before the Horde even existed.
you didn't really get my point, did you? The bands of Trolls tapped into the well of Eternity, and became night elves by basing their entire culture on magic etc. And everyone hates the Blood Elves for doing the same with the Sunwell. My point wasn't that they were around at the same time, because I know they weren't.
No, the only people who actually -HATE- the Blood Elves are the Amani Trolls, they also hate themselves for putting trust in Kael'Thas and he betrayed them, though of course the Alliance hate them, but that's Faction hate not real hate, they did nothing to them it was the other way around infact. And it was only 1 group of Trolls from the Gurubashi Empire. I recently read the 3 books in Gagetzan Inn on the history that happened before the Great Sundering, it was pretty interesting.
Because PLAYERS arn't lore. Jesus, I don't hate the blood elves for doing what they did, it wasn't the Blood Elf as a race who tried to bring Kil'Jaeden, it was Kael and his merry men of followers, if you've been thinking that the whole Blood Elf population is apart of this then your an idiot and should wonder why they're still apart of the Horde then.
I wasn't trying to say players WEREN'T lore, I was trying to say that said players are fucking idiots! ALSO you're completely missing to what I'm referring to. I don't see why I should have to debate with someone who didn't even read my points. Fuck, you read 3 books in game and you're pretending to be a goddamn lore master?
You should of stated it more clearly then, and no, I do not think I'm Lore Master, but it just happened to be that the same thing you were talking about were on the same topic I had read recently.
Where did you hear that Night Elves became trolls? Was it when Kalimdor blew apart and the Night Elves on the Eastern Kingdom side became trolls? Cause Trolls mainly came from the Eastern Kingdoms. Tauren I learned are actually older then the Night Elves and they where civilized before Night Elves but the Night Elves passed them and the Tauren looked to Night Elves as gods.
if you read the lore i think it says in one of the 1st few chapter that the trolls found the well of eternety and were changed into the keldori or h/o u spell it lol
The stories dont say that. Blizzard has never fully verified this is true. Only one book says it is the myth that this happens. No one knows if this is true or not. The Night Elves dont believe it, most trolls do. So it may not be true. I believe it isnt.
Yeah WC3 music remade live orchestra... WHAT THE FUCK! They shoulda had THIS in the game, it just sounds sooo epic just like everything else blizzard does

Actually, blizzard did mention that after making Starcraft 2 they might make another Warcraft RTS.
Besides, just because they've made WoW doesnt mean they've ended Warcraft as an RTS series.

Night elves came from trolls by doing what everyone hates the Blood Elves for.

Nigh Elves became Trolls (So the stories say) by journeying to the Well of Eternity before the Great Sundering, waaayyy before Blood Elves existed.

Again, not talking about Amani hate or Faction hate, I'm talking about real WoW players who hate the Blood Elves.
rammsteinfreak4 2 years ago
Erm, that's got nothing to do with Lore then, you're Argument isn't valid in my case. This is merely your opinion.
TylerRawrness 2 years ago
I said people (players) hate the Blood Elves (lore) because they did what the Night Elves (lore) did pre-Sundering (lore). How is this invalid?
rammsteinfreak4 2 years ago
Because PLAYERS arn't lore. Either way, the Kaldorei completely torched the Trolls when they surfaced. The Trolls never expected them or the magic they could work with.
