hey guys, i ve virus ti2 in black version but work with atomizer goes bad. my mod wheel doesnt work. i tried all of those 16 types of atomizer and also tried different banks with atomizer, still mod wheel didnt work. do u know what i m supposed to do? thx 4 help
ha love these comments. 1st and only thing you need to know about the atomizer effect is that its very easy to overuse and must be inserted into overlapping audio with care. if you wanted to know the 2nd thing it would be that not just anyone can use the atomizer effect and make it sound like a native part of the song without it sounding like a train-wreck. Mark is one of the elite few that can pull it off soo don't think you can do what he does.. Take lots of practice and natural talent
This is the best video I have seen on the atomizer. The others have completely stunk. I am now considering checking into it and trying it out whereas before I was no where near wanting to utilize this operating system.
Can you do this with audio in protools through the USB and then back to PT on a new track? For instance, send a track out to the virus via usb, process it in real time (also recording the midi for tweaks later!)and then back to a new track in PT?
i do not think so because since i wrote this ive investigated....and pro tools will not allow this as an audio interface...so sending audio TO the virus would have to be done through the plugin since the audio hardware will not show as availabe to send. are you sure?
