Go head On Jamal. Years ago, because of my flesh, I lost my gifts. I could remember scriptures in the snap of a moment. I had the wisdom of God to answer hard questions. I had discernment and spoke to situations and circumstances changed, then I lost it all because I couldn't contain my flesh. I have been seeking God ever since to get back what I lost.

@ladyjewelsforever Flesh is not just sex, it's gossiping, selfishness, wanting put ourselves before everybody else, pride, worrying, stinginess, overeating.. etc basically doing too much or too little of what God would desire for your life. You may have overcame your sexual desire Glory be to God, but to say "I overcamed the flesh completely" there would be no need for you to keep praying and repenting daily. We can bring flesh into subjection, but we will always have to deny it's desires!

So True!! This is a powerful message that will not only help end the struggle for me personally but for many others who desires to do the Perfect Will of the Father!! Pastor was speaking what not only the older generation needs but the younger ones as well!
