Hello! If this is what you claimed as Kuching song, please tell me who is the singer? Otherwise, please don't copy the song from Penang and claimed as Kuching's! I have stayed in Kuching before and I have revisited Kuching recently so I know who are the REAL COPYCAT!!!!!
@jennylpchong hey dude, kuching is famous with it's variety of local food. u should have come and give it a try. don't boast around comparing penang and Kuching. respect come first :) cheers ^^v
@NrmnGhChnHw and 6 months later, im back to this video. SHIT. I really miss kuching food so badly dude. Go out when i go back. ;) 3 more months, and i'll be done with A-Levels!!
I am from Singapore. I've heard this song performed in some joints perhaps twice. I was surprised when I see Kuching Food with this song. I thought it is of Singapore origin. I really wonder who is the composer and singer. Great video Kenny! . And in any case all the dishes can be found in both Malaysia and Singapore, maybe some with a different touch.
What a fantastic video. Super lyrics and excellent pictures. But the best is the hokkien. For all those who lived overseas, the hokkien accent is so authentic that one feels homesick and remember those childhood days when hokkien is still widely spoken. Well done, keep the good work up. Very creative.

Am gonna forward your video to tis fren once living in Kuching... am sure he will miss those goodies food.... slurp...slurp....slurp!
@DennisOnshaw Haha! Thanks! Sorry I don't. But my cousin is the guy to look for cuz he makes Kuching Festival's famous oyster omlette. He taught me how. His rule is to keep it simple. The flavour is all in the technique (timing, heat, flipping). Flour, water (+oyster 'juice'), egg, spring onion, salt, pepper and SMALL oysters. His special recipe is with added King Prawns and Crab meat. Sorry I can't properly explain it. I could show you though if you come down to Adelaide. Haha.
@DennisOnshaw I got a friend in Hobart. Might go down sometime. Haha. I heard. Come to Adelaide. Try the Char Sio here. Not bad. Even got Sio Tu. Only $8. I kid you not.
@NrmnGhChnHw hahahah... cheers... what value! I hve to go to Melb for some decent Chinese food... like char sio bak, etc etc... my chinese has gotten quite bad..what's Sio Tu?? hahahhahah... I tend to point and yes I'll have some of that..hahahhah...
@DennisOnshaw I get what you mean. Hahha. Sio Tu. Suckling Pig. But they don't use the sucklings in Australia, they use the adults. But tastes damn good for $8. No complaints.
wow . thank you for making this video . im a fellow kuchingite whose been living in Los Angeles for almost 6yrs now and still havent got the chance to go home and eat all these amazing stuff

V nice song from Penang adapted to show the lovely Kuching food.
What is more, they are Chinese food nicely fitted in with Hokkien song.
I frequent those places with delight. for the taste and price.

V nice song from Penang adapted to show the lovely Kuching food.
What is more, they are Chinese food and Chinese Hokkien song. Don't segregate or discriminate Kuching from Penang or Sarawak from Malaysia.
To the western, we are one, the united one. WE are the Chinese race, the hard working, intelligent and respective one.
I frequent those places with delight.
I like Penang too for the food and beauty second to none as the pearl of Malaysia.
