just bought one of these 2 days ago. it looks identical to the one in this video inside and out. traded in a 2005 kia spectra5 (which i didn't have one problem with while driving, just wanted to upgrade) and couldn't be happier. outstanding car to drive and has about every option imaginable at a reasonable price. love it.
New Kia's feel like Audi's because the head designer of Kia used to work in VW group. Lots of people from german car companies went to Kia/Hyundai, guys who worked on quality controls, material development etc...you can that if you sit in any Kia / Hyundai, especially those made specifically for european market. After a year or two Kia / Hyundai will be able to stand side by side with european sedans such as Peugeot 508, Citroen C5, Audi A4, Opel Insignia...I like this car really a lot already.
The name Kia is almost like saying Amway. I can get over the 3 letter name, it's a cool car. I saw a Kia Optima with Texas license plates that had different name badges, a large K instead of Kia.
I've had a 2012 Kia Optima SX Turbo for two weeks now and absolutely love it. I went from a 2009 Acura TSX into this car, and it is leaps and bounds better than that. More options, bigger engine, better styling... everything is simply better. Highly recommended!!
@VraiDiouf This Kia was actually designed by one of Audi's top engineers which would explain the good looks and performance. I own an Audi A4 and love it. I am thinking about buying this for my son. That is unless I end up liking this more then he'll get the Audi, lol...
I just bought one yesterday and everything this guy is saying is right. This car is absolutely awesome. I also looked at the Honda Accord, Volkswagen Passat, Toyota Camry, and Buick Regal and they didn't even compare. Interior is sick, I got a 2012 SX with technology package and premium package with every option you can fathom. Drives great, nice power, great styling. I was able to get the price down to $29,300 using truecar.com, which I HIGHLY recommend you do. So, so, so happy.
I got pre approved for a car loan and I have an appointment with the dealership this saturday and I am looking at trading my scion tC for one of this because I need a fourdoor car sedan that is good on gas like my scion but still fun to drive... anyone got this car and what do you think?
That is an SX T-GDI with 18" premium wheels. It has a twin scroll turbo charged engine producing 274 HP and 269 pf of Torque. It was designed by design genius Peter Schreyer and his entire team of VW/Audi expats. KIA has opened the door melding performance to the livable family sedan at a reasonable price point. Welcome to the new reality of what is.........and what will be..........
