In 2003 the federal government awarded theDepartment of Health and Human Services a patent on marijauna. Google: Department of Health and Human Services patent #6,630,507, “Cannabinoids as antioxidants and neuroprotectants.
Though to the government, marijauna is still a schedule I narcotic with NO MEDICAL USE.
" Reefer makes darkies think there as good as white men." - with this the entire argument against legalizing marijuana is obliterated. Hey boy, get that joint out of your mouth and go pick my cotton!
This is a great song for your purpose, I'm sorry that corporate greed is so blatant. If you think about it, this is the theme song of Lord of War. And what a war it is, huh? It's people like you who try to do something, change one person's mind even, that make a difference. Good luck with your fight.
Tobacco=450,000 annual deaths Alcohol=100,000, pharmaceuticals(indirect/direct)=100,000, these are the biggest cash stars in Fortune500.Why is it illegal? Profit protection. Cannabis could universally substitute most pills, aspirin, antidepressants, antianxiety=less profit for the elite.(Not to mention the 'alcoholics' i know that supposedly have a 'disease' that have yet to drink since cannabis consumption inception in their lives. If we keep banding together,FEARLESSLY,our march shall cease!
@rainegod888 you would laugh if you had any idea how right you really are. In fact, it probably is the leading reason marij. is illegal because it is a medicine, a damn good one, and if legalized could/would dominate the prescription drug market. I'm talking all kinds of pills for symptoms you don't even know about would get tossed in the trash. Corporate Greed is why we still fight! March on.
@nrmarshall27 I am very informed and know exactly what you speak of. Thanks for understanding and continuing to project truth. Check out " Marketing of Madness" here on youtube. Another good one is BigBucksBigPharma. On the Cannabis side, The Union : The Business of Getting High, and of course, American Drug War, How Weed Won the West. I was once a psychology major until I learned of its correlation with Communist Manifesto. One, Brethren!
Keep up the good fight and passing on the TRUTH! You rock. I saved this to favorites and will feature it soon too. I am so glad to see someone bring up Anslinger, Hearst and Dupont and their greed and lies!
Man, this video is great and all and the song is almost a perfect choice for the issue being discussed, but i think you should do more research, and tell everybody why it is STILL illegal.
Dont rush to conclusions though, and say its still propaganda that's confusing people, becuase propaganda these days is just a by-product of the propaganda before it. Try and and see the bigger picture, i would do it myself, but i dont think i could manage to scrounge enough time. KEEP SPREADING THE WORD!!!!!
I think that the bottom line here is that people do not actually need the government to protect them from drugs. Using drugs is a choice made on an individual basis; a choice that does not violate the rights of any individual. What -does- violate the rights of -many- individuals is restricting their autonomy and freedom by imprisoning them for owning a plant, regardless of whether they use it for intoxication purposes or not.
Say, for instance, that I grow a cannabis plant in my yard and do not even intend to ever smoke or ingest or otherwise consume it in any way. Why should the government charge me with any crime? I've done nothing to endanger anyone. One cannot claim to live in a free country when he cannot even exercise his free will and right to pursue happiness without harming any other individual. We do not live in a free country. We live in a country in which the police may make personal decisions for you.
I think the people need to protect themselves from the governments drugs. Prozac, Paxil and all those other drugs is what is causing kids to kill other kids. I bet it will come out in a few years that these pills were used to make the Armed forces into killers during Vietnam.
ya know cigarettes and booze kill people what does pot do, inspires, helps with creativity, calms you down, makes you more at ease with others, and yourself, makes you hungry, makes your eyes red (once you're high), makes you sleepy, opens your mind, need say more, pot has never killed anyon because it's fucking impossible
im a weekly toker and all this talk about addiction is crap, there are also studies going on now that say weed can prevent prostate and breast cancer. anyway, sweet video man, wats the name of the songs u used?
Very well done. Thumbs up.
