I am a 30 year old who plays Everquest 2 when I'm bored. These guys say they don't play Everquest much, but I can't help, but listen to these guys and think they are a little obsessed and have no life whatsoever. These guys talk as if Everquest is their whole life. It's pathetic. Theres more to life then video games.

He played for a year and only got to lvl 18 lol . I got up to lvl 35 in 2 months and 35 -55 and getting my epic took about a year of playing 24 hours a week

I hear you on that. But in my opinion, I think a healthy balance of both is important. The game can be a nice escape from reality. But at the same time getting out and doing some stuff can be valuable. Broaden your horizens.

But hey, as long as people can live their lives and be happy, who is anyone to be the judge. :)

@briendeheny I still play EQ2 3-4 hours a day everyday lol. EQ seris is the mmo for adults. If your 25-100 then everquest 2 is game for you. You really make friends in EQ2 not like other mmos where you just play with random strangers everynight to just try to get a new peice of gear. EQ2 is much more of a living world to me then other mmos.

An Addiciton isn't bad it's like a drug only it cannot harm your body if you alterate it like I do I used to play 40-50 hours a week and I only play about 1-8 hours in a entire week now
