Good for you ,Kim. I did the same many years ago. I started a job on a Monday and Thursday lunchtime the supervisor decided to bully me. I just told him to stick his f, ing job up his ass, put my coat on and left. I found out a few years later I was some sort of hero to the other guys there because I did what they all wanted to do, but did not have the nerve. It cost me financially because I was barred from unemployment benefit for 8 weeks, but my pride was intact. I soon got another job.

PS: Temp-agencies are really really helpful! That's how I got into where I am (amazing benefits, etc). The people at the 2 agencies I tried were very caring and listened to my stories and tried hard to place me in a place where they though I would thrive. =) PPS: Some of the doctors at work - I've warned others not to take them personally, but we just call it the psyche ward and crackup at their antics. =) My boss calls us all "Mixed nuts." =)

You're so awesome! I have such a wonderful boss, but there's a woman in the office who befriended me at first and then I slowly found out she was just using me in order to hand me work that she didn't want to do! Why can't people get their act together and respect others?? I have noticed though that most people do not trust immediately (sad) and that it takes them time to sort of feel you out. It's a sad world sometimes, but you're a great lady! =)

i hate that i'm addicted to smoking. its horrible! i'm working on quitting. but you are right! people like that are so hard to be around! you are right about being around those type of people. they are far more worse for your health! LOL i dont know why people power trip like that! why do they feel the need to put others down? i feel so horrible for them! im sure that they get some sort of high off of it or even feel superior. my kind of high is out of being NICE&COMPASSIONATE to my fellow man.

wow, and i thought i was the most irritating person alive lol ... i'm an ex-smoker and you're right, if smoking was a big deal, it should have been part of the initial screening process ...

about 5 years ago, i just woke up one morning and quit, it was so spontaneous that it felt almost out of my control ... and not a day goes by that i'm not deeply grateful ... however, not smoking isn't a license to be a bitch :)

Kim, You are so right in everything you have said here. Life is too short to deal with mean people and what gives anyone the right to make someone feel demeaned and stressed out??

I have dealt with bosses in the past like that too...

It is not fun and I was sick all the time until I finally broke free from it and got a different job.

As an ex smoker of some almost 24 years, I understand what you are saying. I'm over sensitve to the odor now and tend to get more bothered by it, but I would NEVER treat someone poorly or rudely. This woman needs people to stand up to her and put her in her place, IMO.  I wish you much luck on find a job with a better boss! :D Oh, and I quit smoking 2 months before finding out I had a brain tumor and had surgery. Somehow I never picked up a cig in that whole deal. :D Not easy tho!

bravo! 5 stars!!!! ok... if you want my recipe for slowing the process of smoking...(which I love) read on... if not... ok... i only quit because i had to. Congestive heart failure... but i loved to smoke. I chose the B. Clinton way... i didn't inhale. I suck and blew... took a week or 2 to get used to it... now I only smoke 3 cigs a month. Kim, been wrestling with that same alligator (tobacco)...some days I win - but most he takes me down.

And I'm totally with you about mean peeps - I have managed to get 'almost' all of them out of my life...I say almost because some are relatives and can't be completely avoided.

My last vid is about addiction to tobacco. Hope you'll watch - since you are in similar 'smoking' situation.
