If you think about it, this makes more sense than the original, especially the beginning of the singing, because a guy could break up with a whore and become so psychologically damaged he burns down things for no reason to cope.

Depending on a person's sanity, the length of the relationship, how the relationship went, and how the breakup occurred (and why), that makes tons of sense.

I'm sure there are songs like that, though. Maybe I'll write one and record it (I'm an amateur songwriter and guitarist...though not the greatest singer, but since when does singing ability matter? :-P).
