  • very good tips I was loking for a video just like this.. the light in my house is terrible most of my videos come out yellow it doesn't help that i have a yellow kitchen. Take a look

  • Hi better internet video.

If your incandescent bulb is painted white, it is indeed diffused. Most incandescent bulbs are painted white, but not all. You can increase the diffusion by pointing it at the wall or filtering it like you suggest. a photographic umbrella is not going to clip to a small desk lamp, it would be too heavy. If you clip something to the lamp, make sure it is heat resistant.

  • Nice tips about using your existing lights from around the house. I just want to add that an incandescent bulb shining at your face is not diffused, but you could diffuse it if you shined it through a white photography umbrella or used a clothespin to clip a sheet of diffusion onto the rim of the gooseneck light.

  • Because my camera does not shoot in 16.9. So if I tried to do 16 x 9 I would have the letterbox effect which I do not like.

  • how about making your videos in 16:9 format
