Actually, this whole DLC thing is a big joke. Most of them are useless and not fun. The only game so far I actually liked the DLCs is Fallout New Vegas, but they were 3~4 hours quests with new zones, weapons, monsters and tied interesting points in the main plot.

It seems they've fixed a few of the complaints on this, there's shops down there now, and you can repair the houses from the map, which was a major annoyance. I've spent 5 bucks on worse.
Side note: Mickey creeped me out in the background...his eye bore into my soul. That...and I could've sworn I saw his hand move...

Peter Molyneux keeps promising ground-breaking advances in video game history and never delivers. Before making a new fable Lionhead should remake the original Fable in HD with all the mechanics of Fable 2 & 3 and actually make a FINISHED game. Just touch everything up and perfect it.

The original Fable was the best. Even when "The Lost Chapters" were released, it felt as if all "TLC" content should've been accessible before fighting Jack of Blades the first time. Also Jack of Blades new voice sucked compared to the original. Fable 2 was disappointing, and while Fable 3 had a better final battle it still was not a satisfying battle. Also the fact that you can't obtain all the clothes, dyes, weapons, etc. without trading/buying online made the game feel unfinished.
Dude Fable 3 and everything about it was garbage. I wish I wouldn't have wasted 64.64 dolalrs on it. All of it is garbage and super short. Its like a shitty version of Fable 2.

I hear that nearly every game that could have add-ons, like maps or quests, has at least one 'map pack' ready to be released when they release the game. But that doesn't mean it has to be a crappy map pack.
Well the DLC hasn't redeimed the game since all of that should have been like second nature in the actual game itself and here's hopeing that they apologise for Fable3 and just start again, just pretend it never happened and take a do-over, admit it was lazy and shite and start again from Fable2 (this won't be game of the year then)

I expected Understone to have at least a decent amount of game time put into it like the Fable 2 dlc but instead material like Reaver's mansion wheel challenge and the Merc shooting gallery which was always part of the main game had to be payed for which was bull. Finished the game now so if anyone need money for their treasury pm me on my gamertag Ragexis. Only thing left to do now is to hunt for legendary weapons :p

Yea I couldn't believe how short it was, I actually had a friend in co-op play with me at the time as he wanted to check it out, we got through the mission in less than 10 mins, seriously poor and disapointing dlc this.
They needed to wait and just release a big ass dlc with a bunch of new quests because understone was just retarded. I spent $5 and was done with the quest in about 10 min.
plus the fact that the 'New DLc' was already in the game so there charging you to unlock the stuff thats already in your game = Rip off just as bad as trayarch changing me TWICE for the zombie maps.

Apparently, the two rarest hairstyles, the Bob and Long Hair (not to be confused with Long Think Hairstyle) can be bought here, can you confirm this? I don't have the DLC yet so I can't check. These hairstyles can only be found in dig spots and chests at random or randomly gifted by a stylist. I've been trying to get the Long Hair for days so I don't have any luck... It would mean a lot if you can check for me :) oh, and the review was great and I'll be checking out your other Fable 3 videos!
You missed the point of this dlc. Many people were complaining that their world was too empty from the final battle, so they released this to fill up the game world. ( If you let them out.) But I do agree that the wheel and firing range are too easy. But all and all I say its okay for $5.
Completely agree with the review. The DLC wasn't worth it at all. Given how short and rushed the overall story was, I hope they make up for both disappointments with a conclusion story.

I think the main purpose of the add on was too release more villagers in to your world. A lot of complaints were that most people screwed up raising money for the Army (because you just didn't have enough time) and therefore most of their population died. Its purpose is to repopulate your towns and villagers, I think.
I say we need more gauntlets. I got really bored from the magic in this game. Yes i did really like it in the beginning but as time went on it got dull. So far since the first Fable nothing in my opinion has bested Infernal wrath and Divine Fury.
Finnaly someone understands whats wrong with this game. the fact that now that albion is saved i cant repair the changes and the citizens keep hating me eventhough i saved them all. i had high hopes for the whole king/queen part and it got cut down to 4 days with 2 judgements each day. after you kill the final boss your only king/queen in a cosmetic way. i hate it when i run around in bowerstone beeing hissed at by people. im the bloody king even if you hate me that would get you killed.
Peter Molyneux Has the uncanny ability to polish a turd and sell it to all of us. I have Fable, Fable 2, and Fable 3. Mostly because I keep thinking that the later installments of the game will be better than the first. In both cases of 2 and 3 I am wrong. You would think that a game that is so centered on the idea that you have so much freedom about what you can do Fable 3 is about as limited any other thing out there.
If Molyneux wanted to make a game that was about freedom, choice and character development he would have spent a little more time on things like clothing, hair styles, dog breeds, and weapons. PLUS where did all the combat go? Sometimes I thought that the gun and sword was just for show. The Fable series is good. Worthy of a solid 9 as a whole. Peter Molyneux is an over hyping asshole. Worthy of a smack in the face.
I’m tired of him telling people how different things in the NEW GAME will be. When they aren’t. He said himself that Fable 2 was “rubbish”. In my opinion there is little difference between 2 and 3. It made it seem like there'd be war in the streets, and crusades of industrial greatness. The revolution quest took me 8 minutes to do.

Do you know how in Fable 2 when Lucien hired those assassins to kill you, and on random encounters they'd appear in a city to attack you? The Queen shouldn't go around unprotected in the slums.

So, I'm not surprised, the dlc is short and disappointing just like the game, and this is coming from a huge fable1 and fable2 fan. Fable three was like a series of slaps in the face to players, specifically loyal fans of the franchise.

Yea I couldn't believe how short it was, I actually had a friend in co-op play with me at the time as he wanted to check it out, we got through the mission in less than 10 mins, seriously poor and disapointing dlc this.

They needed to wait and just release a big ass dlc with a bunch of new quests because understone was just retarded. I spent $5 and was done with the quest in about 10 min.

Apparently, the two rarest hairstyles, the Bob and Long Hair (not to be confused with Long Think Hairstyle) can be bought here, can you confirm this? I don't have the DLC yet so I can't check. These hairstyles can only be found in dig spots and chests at random or randomly gifted by a stylist. I've been trying to get the Long Hair for days so I don't have any luck... It would mean a lot if you can check for me :) oh, and the review was great and I'll be checking out your other Fable 3 videos!

You missed the point of this dlc. Many people were complaining that their world was too empty from the final battle, so they released this to fill up the game world. ( If you let them out.) But I do agree that the wheel and firing range are too easy. But all and all I say its okay for $5.

Completely agree with the review. The DLC wasn't worth it at all. Given how short and rushed the overall story was, I hope they make up for both disappointments with a conclusion story.
Nice to get a comment that doesn't involve talking about your anatomy or cybering with your fable character, eh? :)

Totally agree. I still dug the DLC, but I just wish it was already included in the package or at the very most 200 MS points. 5 bucks is pretty steep. and @goobbb what a dumb comment to make!!! Is it cause she's not wearing a tank? Go watch her Force Unleashed 2 review then if that's all you care about.

I think the main purpose of the add on was too release more villagers in to your world. A lot of complaints were that most people screwed up raising money for the Army (because you just didn't have enough time) and therefore most of their population died. Its purpose is to repopulate your towns and villagers, I think.

I say we need more gauntlets. I got really bored from the magic in this game. Yes i did really like it in the beginning but as time went on it got dull. So far since the first Fable nothing in my opinion has bested Infernal wrath and Divine Fury.

Finnaly someone understands whats wrong with this game. the fact that now that albion is saved i cant repair the changes and the citizens keep hating me eventhough i saved them all. i had high hopes for the whole king/queen part and it got cut down to 4 days with 2 judgements each day. after you kill the final boss your only king/queen in a cosmetic way. i hate it when i run around in bowerstone beeing hissed at by people. im the bloody king even if you hate me that would get you killed.

Peter Molyneux Has the uncanny ability to polish a turd and sell it to all of us. I have Fable, Fable 2, and Fable 3. Mostly because I keep thinking that the later installments of the game will be better than the first. In both cases of 2 and 3 I am wrong. You would think that a game that is so centered on the idea that you have so much freedom about what you can do Fable 3 is about as limited any other thing out there.

If Molyneux wanted to make a game that was about freedom, choice and character development he would have spent a little more time on things like clothing, hair styles, dog breeds, and weapons. PLUS where did all the combat go? Sometimes I thought that the gun and sword was just for show. The Fable series is good. Worthy of a solid 9 as a whole. Peter Molyneux is an over hyping asshole. Worthy of a smack in the face.

I’m tired of him telling people how different things in the NEW GAME will be. When they aren’t. He said himself that Fable 2 was “rubbish”. In my opinion there is little difference between 2 and 3. @squirmoose Well, it tells you what kind of person he is when he calls his work rubbish. Regardless if he feels he failed on Fable 2. If you are caught trash-talking your own work, it shows you have little respect for yourself and Fable as a series. And I agree with you, the trailer made it seem like you'd go on warships, and fire cannons at factories and such. It made it seem like there'd be war in the streets, and crusades of industrial greatness. The revolution quest took me 8 minutes to do.

@squirmoose Also, I'm sorry if you dislike Fable 2. But I personally thought it was a great game because it was the one that got me hooked on the series. It also had more lovable characters like Garth and Hannah, and Reaver when he was actually funny and not so sinister. Also Rose. Fable 3 was supposed to surpass that, but it took AWAY features from Fable 2 and added little to nothing new. So if you take away and don't expand, you're gonna fail. Fable 2 had buttloads of clothing options...

@rebelthedog9000 I see what you're saying, if you choose the path of a tyrant there should be someone scheming to bring you down. Do you know how in Fable 2 when Lucien hired those assassins to kill you, and on random encounters they'd appear in a city to attack you? It would make sense for a syndicate to make attacks against you. I just hate how you're a monarch, and there's no general or someone in charge who does errands for you. The Queen shouldn't go around unprotected in the slums.

Raychul, I really appreciate this video of your opinion because I could not agree more. You basically took the words out of my mind. I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling Lionhead left a lot of holes in this project. I think the reason Understone didn't offer anything new was because it wasn't supposed to be anything unique, which is why it isn't its own zone, it was part of the original game. And I agree with you on Fable 2 having amazing DLC. Knothole Island offered SO much, clothing and weps!
