  • Excellent. The moving chair problem is now solved thanks to you! Thank you!

  • Simple and effective. :)

  • Very nice! I will build that... but maybe I'll make a modification or two. Can you tell me why the board's so long? I don't see the purpose of the part of the board that comes after (that is, on the chair side of) the hole. Couldn't I just omit that?

Also, I was wondering if one could make the part betweed the hole and the pedal a bit slimmer. Or would that affect stability?

Thanks in advance for your advice! Dan.

  • 2:12 he has a metal leg

  • That is one badass/cool tattoo on your right leg!

  • @Orangebike666 thanks...most of the airplanes I flew were riveted aluminum, so the tattoo honors those planes

  • Good tip, Great "Chuck Taylors"....

  • How about Gaffers tape?

  • That is so cool!! Great use of imagination :)

  • QUESTION: Is there anyway you can use a game port rudder with saitek usb yoke and throttle, are is there any mods i can do to get it to work,,my rudder pedals are ch product but it has game port instaed of usb,,,HELP!!!

  • =D Simply easy and Use full :)

  • I have cut a piece of non-slip stuff for rugs to fit under my pedals, and used carpet tape to attach it to the bottom of the pedals. It works great - but I don't have a wheeled chair, so it wouldn't help with that issue.

  • your feet tatoo is like a robot

  • it's so nice . i'd like to have one .

  • smart

  • what a dude!

  • good idea! Makes much safer flying

  • oh wow...its so simple yet so practical...I LOVE IT!

  • do u need a ruder pedal to fly the plane cause i dont wantt o buy one only the joytick

  • Saitek joysticks (not recommended) They break after use. I would recommend another joystick or a thrustmaster one. Taxi-ing can be done without rudder pedals!

  • where can i get velcro??? i mean do they hav them in hardware stores or someplace else?? please dont say target or something cause im canaidien please help me out!!

  • oh my gooogle

  • Ha !!!!

    Good ideea, thanks :)

  • are they spring loaded

  • yep

  • Do these pedals work with IL-2 Sturmovik?

  • OR, since you seem to have a hardwood floor, you could just pick up a 50 cent pair of suction cups and plop those things on there.

  • Try it. Let us know how it worked out for you.

  • @KrisTheEpic1 what about the chair? the pedals will remain in the same place but not the chair

  • @Pilotsofer watch @1:55 the chair wheel locks in to a slot

  • @KrisTheEpic1 but that doesnt work with chairs of wheels

  • good vid thats an awesome idea

  • Can you make a DIY rudder pedal tutorial?

  • Well, probably not. There are already commercial off-the-shelf rudder pedals available from Saitek and CH Products that are very good. We don't want to "re-invent the wheel" because you usually end up spending more in resources, time and effort.

This is a good question, I'll put it in our FAQ webpage.

  • I know but the thing about DIY is reinvent the weal in a cheap way. I mean the CH costs tons of money, and I bet there is a cheaper DIY style way.

  • @rogerdodgeraviation dose this rudder have a way of braking the plane so i dont have to reach over for the . button.

  • @TheAirlineFlyer rudder pedals from Saitek, CH Products and Logitech all include toe brakes

  • Good ideas! Nice chucks! Now I really want to try these flight simulator games. Are they expensive?

  • nope they are not. the most expensive parts of a basic simulator is the rudder and and yoke. just about over $200 if you by them on amazon. the software is cheap and honestly many people dont even buy them :)

  • have you tried to put your head in your ass instead. Wtf was that.

  • LMFAO... u're cool

  • maybe you are choosing the wrong chairs,

try with home armchair which is heavy, then stack your rudder in front of the wall.i think that there's no need for hard work.

    but good idea !!!

  • We tried something like your idea, but it didn't work. The ergonomics were bad (uncomfortable).

  • :34

  • He reminds me of Paul Rudd

  • hahahh lol man you dont like the duct tape...but still cant see it under the desk and you still made it look pretty by flattening it out where the logo was....good job man..something a neat freak like me would do!!!

  • you kinda look like denis quaid! Lol, but seriously, you make some awesome vids, good job

  • where do you get the rudder pedals? please reply!!!

  • CH Products.. he said it

  • in regards to holding things down: in wood shop catalogs, such as Rockler's, etc or perhaps your local hardware, there is a "non-slip" mat for routers that is very good. Even with the pressure we put on a router plus the torque of the blade, the piece of wood you are working on won't move or slide. And there are also at Home Depot for those in the US some rubber caps that simply are glue to the bottom of the unit you want to secure, and it is quite effective.

  • Good stuff :)

One thing I use under my pedals, and my keyboard (I HATE wandering keyboards) is those rubber non-slip "placemats". They look like placemats, but they are marketed as pads to stop floor mats from sliding around. They work well! I can apply 100lbs of lateral force to it, and it won't budge.

  • Nice tats hehe

  • yeah!! hes right foot is pretty nice (= (= hehe metall

  • what if someone is really short?

  • You Must Be This Tall To Ride This Ride dude

  • Unlike the sign says on Jacko's bedroom...

    Saitek is the best, BTW!

  • you could also cut like 2 more slots for smaller legs and longer... then you just adjust the position of the chair... wouldnt that help? xD

  • Yeah, I think that would work really well.

  • glad to know that ive helped! =)

  • Cadê a tecla SAP?

  • nice work.

  • haha nice airplane leg

  • Im making it at the moment. If it works you'll get 5/5 haha

  • By the way , your tip really help out.

    ROCK ON DUDE!

  • THANX ! !

  • Roger, do you have tips on how to clean the inside of the CH pedals? The reason why I am asking is because sometimes dirt from my shoes gets inside were the little rollers are(which makes the pedals move forward and back) and cause the pedals to not work properly. It is easy to take the pedals apart and clean the inside, but it's a bitch to put it back together. If you know an easier way to clean the inside plz let me know. (The outside is no problem.)

  • I'll have to give that one some thought. We took apart some CH rudder pedals once, and I do remember it was certainly difficult to get it back together. But there's got to be an easier way to do it!

  • Roger... i need a realistic cockpit. where can i get it?

  • Try Googling "Aimsworth F-16" that's the best jet fighter cockpit I've ever seen, but it's expensive.

  • LOL got to love that duct tape. cool!

    jim Norwalk WI

  • if you can, could you guys make a review on the ch pedals?

  • At some point, we might do a video on flight sim pedals in general: the CH pedals, the new Saitek pedals and also the German F-16+ pedals we use. The main idea is to get people to use rudders!

  • lol, even this ugly chair. lol how bout that lol

  • Okay I know how make my own Flight Sim Rudder Staythere now!

    Thanks a lot!
