The original Slyvia's Mother was written by Shel Silverstein. It was a huge radio success...at first. But then as many great songs are, it was overplayed. To the point that during concerts fans began to throw loose change at the band...(as in 40 cents more). In response Shel wrote an alternate verse as joke...Sylvia's Father. The band never recorded the version officially and unless you were at one of the few shows where it was played by the band you missed it, until now.

This is funny...these guys have a great sense of humor...I guess they got tired of singing this song so much they changed the lyrics..I like this version better..
