I'm kind of sad this is really the best anyone can make it look. Even when everything goes right you still have mid-level loading screens, graphical glitches, enemies with HP bars, and snowboard physics that blatantly haven't been updated since Sonic Adventure 2.
I just don't understand how Sonic Team could have made Shadow the Hedgehog, looked at all of its glaring flaws, and failed to fix a single one of them.

Just because a rock hits you sending you off the stage isn't fully a glitch, its just because the player sucks and needs to learn how to avoid. Sonic 06 is pretty much like Sonic Unleashed DLC, Hard mode, avoid crap, watch out for pits, and hit that spring at the right time or you're screwed.

I hated this game so much, but i was determined to beat it, since i had 7 days to. (gamestop return policy for used games). The last game I played in the sonic series was sonic heroes, and I didn't even beat that, because its flow was pretty bad, and the story line was also terrible. It wasn't really super glitchy from what i could tell though. I liked Sonic Adventure 2 quite a bit though, and that game had a few glitches, though sometimes easy to avoid with timing.
It's videos like this that made me glad I never wasted money on this game. Slow, boring gameplay, uninspired level design, loading screens mid-level and glitches out the ass.
It's unbelievable that Generations, such a quality product overall, came only 5 years after this piece of shit. I like to think that the overall negative reception taught Sega and Sonic Team a very valuable lesson, one that's ended up working out better for the franchise as a whole.
I heard that there was a shit load of loading screens... but I didn't know that it was THAT bad.... Thank god I didn't buy that game when I had the chance.

Really the only unexcusable problem I have with Sonic 06 is the slowdown. I can ignore the glitches because while they are abundent, 86 percent of them only happen if you are trying to make them happen. The loading times are only intolorable during the town mission sections. They aren't so bad during the Act missions.

If the leaked level list for Sonic Generations can be held as true, then Crisis City will be apart of the levels picked for the game. I dunno about you, but I am personally looking forward to it. I thought Crisis City was a relatively cool level... except for being on a game that was so bad, it was the only one ever to make me rage quit. So seeing Crisis City on a system that ISN'T broken? Yes please!

Its just that...this game looks so freaking amazing for a sonic game...but...They just messed up with it. They rushed it. they didnt finish the game, and its just nit good enough :/ It had so much potential. It could have been a sonic adventure 3. who knows. but to give it that title? With how bad the gameplay is? no. Just no. If SEGA ever makes another game with the sonic adventure style, it better not be rushed like this crap,

If only this game had more time... I like the game, but I can respect your opinion. I learned to respect people's opposing opinions on this game. To me, this game is not the worst Sonic game, (and it actually is not) but it is somewhat bad. These problems rarely happened during gameplay when I first played the game. Everyone (except Nintendo) is to blame for the train wreck that this game became in 2006. Rushed development, whining about the game's release, conflict, and ignorance are to blame.

@sonicfanboyee Wrong- Sonic Unleashed was made by a new team- a team freshly picked, who all shared a love of Sonic. This? This was still the old team. On a tight schedule. That's why the game is as broken as it is.
Trust me, I like Sonic games- I even gave '06 a chance, and while it is fun when it's not glitching, the glitches (and cheap deaths because of those glitches) are too frequent to be truly enjoyable.

Marketing...if they would of truly marketed this the way they were supposed to would you have baught it? Maybe, most of us haters? No. We wouldnt be complaigning. We got what we got yes. But that doesn't mean that the company can steal your money for osmething you didnt obviously know what you were buying into. That and the errors make this game popular.

Really the only unexcusable problem I have with Sonic 06 is the slowdown. I can ignore the glitches because while they are abundent, 86 percent of them only happen if you are trying to make them happen. The loading times are only intolorable during the town mission sections. They aren't so bad during the Act missions.
